Didn’t buy anything (except more storage bins).
Also, the code is one-time use. Much to my naive chagrin.
(This is probably obvious to everyone else ;_;)
This is the second store I've searched in a fruitless quest for the new polys mentioned in that thread. Both actually have boxes of the old ones from last year on the shelf in the Lego aisle. Maybe I need to try Brickseek next time.

Mountain View, Calif. Walmart display.
According to Brickseek this was one of the few stores showing "in stock" on the Black Panther polybag - of course it was nowhere to be found. Oh well, at least the trip wasn't a waste as I was able to pick up the #30532 Turbo, #30357 & last year's Easter vignette set.
I can also confirm that Walmart does have the Hot Dog Cart poly as well.
Hopefully soon.
I think the non-toys stores are now buying LEGO so they can get people in their stores where they may not normally be there. That and Fry's now sells LEGO as well. Again very few deals, but they do
Just last week I was at my local WM looking for a specific wall paper remover and I couldn't find it in the hardware section....so I asked a WM representative walking by if it was around here or in the cleaning supplies area at the other end of the store.....he just kept walking and said over his shoulder "I'm on break". That's my expectations of WM.
