Dozens of #30425 and #30402 along with a few older polybags. $3.97, great deal for model with 2 figures like 30425
    4 #41180 $49

At Eden Prairie I found a #41185 Magic Rescue on the top shelf of the Lego aisle for $25. There were 4 #75524 Chirruts in the clearance aisle at $5 but I left them.

Found this "block tape" on the shelf at the Bloomington store. I can't imagine this is the same as that kickstarter that was discussed here a few months back.

As a matter of fact, it is the same Nimuno Loop tape on Indiegogo:

Zuru licensed it and it's now called Mayka:

^ Wow. Pretty amazing to see it on Walmart's shelves already. Of course, I don't personally see a use for it, but I wish them success.

I was surprised to see the big Force Friday display and tents outside at some Walmarts.  Didn't know they had planed on doing that.

I picked one of these up yesterday at local Walmart, probably a clone of the Nimuno tape since it is 2/3 the price. Have not seen the Zuru Mayka tape yet. Using it in some golf-tee display cabinets for minifigure display.

My local Walmart didn't have that display set up but had those polys on a shelf with the Ninjago and Friends polys that I've seen in other people's posts here.  I'm not sure if they ever had it up since I wasn't around when it first released.

YMMV, Walmarts have lowered their price on #70917 Ultimate Batmobile to $69 in-stores.  Was able to snag 3 at my nearest WM.

^ $199.99 at Shop at Home which is a slightly better deal with VIP points and bonus items like the Ninjago Green dragon poly.

That's only at your store. I tried 3 different walmart here and nothing same original price. Hoping to find a deal for my daughter and me.

Have you tried using Brickseek? Most stores near me have marked them down and sold out, others list at full price. I picked a random zip code in Indiana, Brickseek shows 3 on sale in Columbus for $69.

So yesterday here in Greensboro I found:
    #41180 Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle $25
    #41175 Fire Dragon's Lava Cave $9
    #70351 Clay's Falcon Fighter Blaster $13
#41232 Super Hero High School $15

    But today, I found 3 copies of #75102 Poe's X-Wing Fighter for $15 apiece. I grabbed all 3.

I had seen the X-Wing for $30 at a different store the day before, and while that's a good deal, I held off. But for 80% off... I had to grab em.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,787
Wow, so went to dinner with my family and was near a Walmart and decided to take a look.
    Found the following:
    #70917 Ultimate Batmobile $69.00
#76077 Detroit Steel strikes back $13
    #76056 Rescue from Ra's al ghul $15

At another Walmart on the way home I found:

#70914 Bane Toxic Tank Truck $25

Just wondering though if the boxes really have all of their contents though (Id rather have an idea if they have been tampered with before opening them).
Anyone have box weights for these to the tenth of an ounce by chance?
  • CaptainRogersCaptainRogers Member Posts: 862
Brickset typically has box weights under its info page per sets. It does list everything as x.xx pounds, so you would have to do some conversion.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,787
Yeah, the weight on the scale is pounds and ounces (so it shows '1 lb 2 oz' for example)
Turns out I have an extra Bane's Toxic Tank set for the weight. So the set is .02 oz heavier than the one I had, which I think is fine, just large scale differences are worrying.
But I'm not really sure about the others, even with the weights in Brickset directory

It would help greatly if someone happens to have the same type of scale.

I am confused, why not just open it and if you are missing pieces take it back to the store or contact Lego.

Because I would rather not have to take it back to a store open and fight with them about it.
If I can get the weight I can just quickly compare and see if there are major differences.

Far other end of the state. I'm in the east central. All my stores around me have stock but at $139.99 still. Thanks for the link I will keep an eye out. If one of the stores let them go I will grab them all.

If they weigh light you'll have to go back anyway, but I had no idea it would be a fight to return considering some of the crazy things I've seen walmart allow returns on.  Plus there's the Lego missing part option.  Whatever you choose good luck!

I hope my boys like the volcano City sets I got them for Xmas this year. At a total savings of 80%, I couldn't pass them up.

You can also read this as: scan any volcano City you see. They may be ENORMOUSLY reduced.

I was at Wal-mart yesterday and they had a Luke's sand speeder set that I had never seen or heard of before. It included a sandperson, Luke, Obi-wan and C3-PO. It had the most recent box art along the edges so its a current set. I've just never heard about it or seen it anywhere before.

Walmart Mountain View, Calif. has a Ghostbusters Firehouse HQ 75827 for $280 (Regular price $350 a savings of $70). Not a spectacular price but if your looking for it, Here you go. As you can see it's taped up and who knows if it's all there? It's in the Clearance section by the LEGO aisle on the side wall near an emergency exit door.

I bet you could get another 10 - 20% off for the beat up box too if you ask nicely.

I'd open it up in store to make sure everything is there! I once saw Parisian Restaurant in a Walmart... Someone had returned it with random bags from other sets, and kept the entire modular building. People do terrible things.

I snagged a 70914 Bane Toxic Truck at WalMart for $35 a couple weeks back, and Sunday night found a 70907 Killer Croc Tail-Gator on Sunday for $15...

Brickseek says there's 70902, 70908, 70915, and 70917 out there at heavy discount.  The hunt is on.

^ A few Bane's around me got as low as $20, but I had already bought it at $30. I really want the Two-Face set at a good discount, but nothing here. Might have to just go for Amazon's 30% off.

Hmmm, local Walmart is showing 70902 for $3 and they supposedly have 11.  Anything in that set good part wise?  I don't really want it but $3 for 139 pieces sounds appealing.

    Never mind... :-/

Turned out they had 15.  Probably going to save them for a speed build challenge for my kids Bday party or toss them in a Toys for Tots bin.

It does have some versatile pieces, included the exclusive printed ones for the cat-cycle. It's also the cheapest way to get all 3 of the figures included. I would say if you have thr extra cash, grab as many as you can!
