ryjayryjay Member Posts: 1,006

Friends... #41097 Balloon, #41092 pizzeria, #41095 Emma's House, #41094 light house and character encyclopedia

Princess... #41053 carriage, #41055 castle, #41052 magical kiss, #41063 palace, #41062 elsa's castle, #41050 ariel's treasures, #41060 Sleeping Beauty

Star Wars... #75054 At-At

Ghostbusters #21108; and Creator #10243 Persian Restaurant...and RI still to arrive.

And all three advent calendars, City, Friends, and Star Wars opened and played with over the month

What did everyone else get?

No LEGO under my tree this year, first time ever! My kids just don't care about them any more. Which makes me very sad that they have hit their dark ages so early (12 & 13) My wife told me no Lego this year because the kids look at it as a present for myself and not for them.

That being said I did get some cork board to display poly bags and stuff. For some reason I can't seem to find the prongs to attach them anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!!

    Merry Christmas everyone

I had way too many sets under the tree to list. I have three boys and we almost exclusively give LEGO. The two big sets for my wife and I were of course GE and TH. I was able to score both at retail, thank goodness... Merry Christmas all!

    I got a card...

That said I'm getting the Slave 1 in January!

I'm still a little ticked off that Lego didn't release it for Christmas. :disappointed:

Competed the arctic theme with ice breaker and cargo plane, also got the city tow truck. My daughter got heart lake high and the dolphin cruiser and my son got hulk lab smash and Arctic batman set. Also got a few Lego books between the three if us and a bit of cash for more Lego. Just have to decide whether we go for new sets or pick up some of the stuff on our want lists!

    #10225 R2-D2 and #42024 Container Truck

I was pleasantly surprised as I wasn't expecting any LEGO this year.

No rattly boxes for me, I usually buy Lego for myself anyway and have discouraged the wife from even trying; not because she'll pick something bad, but because she'll pay full price for it. But I got my son (8) Lord Business' Lair, Benny's Ship, and the Family House from Target's BF. He also got a bunch of books (Riordan series, Redwall, Lloyd Alexander) and video games (Minecraft, LBP 3), and I got a robe. Everyone should have a robe, it's heavenly.

Aside from my Secret Santa gift? I got a copy of the Brick City: Lego for Grown-Ups book. I don't think I'll be able to build as many models from the book as my family expects!

No lego under the tree, due to the agreement that all the sets we got at November sales counted as early presies... I did get new Mazda 3 SE-L 2.0 Nav in titanium flash though, so it wasn't a completely ruined holiday ;)

I assume you want to know what kind of LEGO things were under the tree ;) I got #79003, which I am quite happy about as I have been wanting to get it, but it seemed like it just wasn't happening.

Empire State Building, the Ghostbusters car for my Halloween display, and a Yoda keychain light. I also enjoyed the Star Wars and City advent calendars all month. I will definitely do that again. I will get the Detective Agency and Lincoln Memorial on the 1st.

I also got the Empire State Building (from a friend, guess word is spreading about me being an AFOL).

From hubbie and son I got the Milennium Falcon, Duel on Genosis, Council of Elrond, Riddles for the ring, Frodo and cooking corner, Wizard battle. Quite a nice haul

My son got the King's Castle and Dragon Mountain, Forest Ambush, Man-Bat attack and F12 berlinetta.

Coof, after righting this I realised I got more Lego than my son!

So glad I came out of the Dark Ages!

I've finally convinced my family that what I really want for Christmas is Lego.

My Mother in Law told me that she will be buying me LEGO next year instead of giving me $$$. Since the $$$ goes into the 'general fund' and ends up getting spent on groceries and boring things like that. She said if you won't buy it, I will do it for you...
I'm a lucky Son in law. (My wife's dad even introduced me to her way back when... I was pre-approved to date/marry his daughter!)

I got a set of Brickstruct MKVII Tank instructions from my son (he's 19). He knows I like my Indiana Jones stuff but he really caught me out with this gift, I hadn't asked for it, he actually thought about his dad and did a bit of research. Most thoughtful gift I think I've ever received. Already gathered about 80% of the elements!

I got the approval from my wife to begin the part hunt for Arvo Brothers' Kaneda Bike. Not really sure if that's a gift or a future exercise in frustration :(
