Hello Forum,

My name is Darryl... I have been a fan of LEGO since my first kits as a kid, starter and the first SPACE LEGO. I decided after many years to start collecting again. I have started with Marvel - Guardians of the Galaxy - Milano as my starting point. My old LEGO sets were stolen many years ago so will have to start all over again. Love building the sets and remaking them into something different. Look forward to being apart of this wonderful community

Sorry, to hear that your LEGO was stolen. Perhaps that will give you a little more bargaining power with your wallet to purchase a few more sets than you normally would this Christmas ;o)

Well... my wife bought me my first new LEGO set for an early Christmas present... but will continue to buy sets in the future. Yeah my brother took all our combined LEGO to a friends house it was stolen from there, all vintage sets from 1980's. I have some LEGO I bought about 10 years ago, but unfortunately is incomplete now from moving etc., will have to see what I am missing from them and see if I can order replacement parts to make them whole again. Sorry don't have set ID's still looking for manuals etc.

Hi Darryl, - large spaceship - was it #497-1 ? - which, if memory serves me right, was one of the 'large' sets I wanted as a kid but never got. Those moon crater plates... I did have those. #70816-1 would be a great solution to your nostalgia problem ;-)

No wish it was.... It was the first of the white spaceship line, with an opening back with a rover vehicle. Loved changing it up to make other spaceships. Built the Milano, now looking at getting another one to convert it into the Rocket's Warbird, got most of it figured out but will need StarWars kits and some loose to make it work. Made a mini Super Stardestroyer yesterday looks kinds crappy since I didnt have enough grey bricks to make it uniform, but the concept is there, will be posting the pic soon
