Removing poly, comicon stuff from collection

Hi,

First, Brickset is a very good website and @Huw is doing a fantastic job.

I'm a collector, but for me 100% of a theme is owning all boxed sets you can buy on Lego shop.
There is no way i can buy poly, comicon stuff.
Like on Lego shop, you can buy the Hobbit ultimate kit http://shop.lego.com/en-CA/The-Hobbit-Ultimate-Kit-5004261?fromListing=listing
That is why i would like the possibility to remove the polybags, comicon stuff, TRu minibuilt...
from your collection page so when on your collection summary, you can have 100% for the Hobbit with just owning the boxed sets.
Like on Star Wars 2014 page http://brickset.com/sets/year-2014/theme-Star-Wars
Removing polys, comicon, promo polys, TRu minibuilt, fanexpo stuff so when i view the page, i can see just the sets that everybody can buy.
Hope you understand what i ask, English is my second language.

Thank you

I do understand and it's possible to to what you ask but only by using queries http://brickset.com/queries.

I can probably add a means to exclude categories of sets from your listings, much like you can exclude specific themes, because we do categorise sets as 'normal' or 'extended' or whatever.

Let me see what I can do in the new year...

This exclusion stuff, if done, would be optional right? I prefer knowing if there are things missing from my collection, including the polys, in-store builds, etc.

@VorpalRyu Me too. I'm quite sure that will be the case. Otherwise it would be too hard for completionists to keep count of the sets. Most people don't want to remove the exclusives from the collection summary, I think.

This is still on the todo list, btw...

Optional exclusion of exclusive items would be a great feature.

However, since Brickset is a comprehensive compendium of nearly every Lego product, exclusive items should definitely be listed in a theme's general listing.

    Just my two cents...
