    Except TRU has already listed the Brick Bounty for $109.  Fricken savages!!  Everything else was at MSRP.

    I know there was another thread about this but I cannot seem to locate it. How well is TRU with their shopping? Items typically sent quickly so long as they are in stock? Long waits? Anything else?

    When buying through their website I personally have found the process smooth and professional. However, you won't find local overstock-type sales anywhere but a B&M store, and they're often the best deals TRU makes available.

    I went to my tru today with several coupons and rewards bucks looking to pick up the $20 mechdragons and Lone Ranger sets. They did a total reset of the LEGO isle. The Lone Ranger Colby Shoot out was still $20 and the Mine was still $40 but the Mechdragon went back up to $40. They had several city sets marked as clearance like the City Mine for $80 and the Logging Truck for $15.

    ^What galaxy squad sets are left at your TRU? Mine only has the Obliterator for $65. I picked up Obliterator and Titan when they had 30% off, plus an additional 20% off closeout. 

    Anyways, I think TRU will let what's left of Galaxy Squad rot on their shelves.

    I think I've got a local store that still has most of them. I'm interested in the whole series, but I missed that first 20 + 30 thing [didn't know about the larger stock at this particular store, either, at that time], and only the Hive Crawler is a really good deal now at $35.

    I think TRU will eventually run another 20% off closeout deal pretty soon. Their pricing on the Titan is crazy though. It's on closeout for $9 over MSRP lol. Anyways, they're really fun sets. I hope you're able to get a good deal on them soon.

    @BACbrix, are you able to buy one online and pick up in your location? Also, they will honor their online prices instore as long as it isn't an 'online only' sale. If they give you any hassle just have them look up their price match guarantee, its spelled out there very clearly (I always have to google 'toysrus price match', they hide it very well on their website). Either of those two methods will get you a Jedi Defender for $52.49. Good luck!

    [This is something we have discussed in the past, but just in case someone else didn't know about this...]

    Gift Card Mall at eBay has Babies R Us gift card at 20% off ($50 for $40) with free shipping.  Looks like it's limit of two.  BRU gc will work at TRU.  

    Of course, by the time the card arrives, it may be too late for the current sales, but I still like to have the GC around because you can always stack it with a coupon, in-store or online.  

    Another reason to stock up on TRU GC: if it's convenient for you, you can go to the store and do a pricematch against Amazon or Target, thus it's an additional 20% off on top of whatever promotions are going on at other stores.  

    Lastly, if you have TRU rewards, it's an extra 4%.

    For the above eBay GC deal, also don't forget to use cashback website or maybe someone here know how to create a referral link here for Brickset to take some credit.

    Lastly, if you watch your eBay Bucks, 4/1 is probably the cut off date.  You'd want to have at least $5 for this quarter or eBay won't issue you a certificate.  That's another 2% if that matters.  There are other GCs on sale today that anyone visiting deals sites can find out what's available.  Kmart used to have some good deals on Lego but either I'm not as diligent or the good old days are gone.

    I checked my local TRU after reading about the discount in this thread and Slickdeals.
    Saw it was in stock at a local TRU.

    I figured it'd be there tomorrow.

    Nope.

    Now there's not a single one within 50 miles.

    For me too.... I tried in store pickup and called all 3 locations within 1 hour or so driving distance and nothing. They claimed they haven't had stock of the ship since late December but I thought they were on the shelves up until thsee last couple weeks. Great deal considering 79.99 and 89.99 when it was on shelves last spring. Disappointed because I have looked for a deal like this and now it is already OoS. Oh well

    Online said they didn't have any.
    In store they had 5: 1 lightly worn box, 1 creased box with a hole, three with deep gashes in the corner.

    $53 (+ taxes) out the door.

    I didn't care about the lightly worn box because I was going to build it!

    Have you tried checking the TRU shops in malls nearby? Though they are supposed to be included in the online inventory checks, it may be incorrect and they have them in-store.

    I saw that. Gonna PM (if possible), use a TRU coupon plus Rewards to hit the minimum if I can. Otherwise, just buy the pack.

    @ISDAvenger the TRU PM policy states that they will do the coupon or other instore reductions, then do the price match, so your coupon is basically wasted. But as always when humans are involved ymmv.

    TRU has some pretty good deals on line right now on Star Wars.  #75093 Final Dual can be bought for $67.99.  I dont think I've seen it that cheap any where else for a store pick up.  Shuttle #75094 is $83.99.  I wonder if the one item 15% off or 20% with TRU C.C. works on these.

    Some good deals on Friend sets, too right now.  Emma's house #41095  is about $10 & lower then Walmart or Target, and Lighthouse #41094 is at $31.99.   Although I have seen the Lighthouse priced at $30.99 at one Walmart, but they had no stock.

    TRU has a bunch of stuff on sale right now. I was able to pick up 70173 Ultra Agents Ocean HQ for 20% off. Buyer beware, check the RRP before pulling the trigger, some deals feature the TRU markup and are not really great deals.
