Got #70916 The Batwing (marked up to $94.99) priced match to their website ($71.99) and still got the pod for free.
The cashier was very friendly and warned me that with price match *sometimes* the free promos do not ring (which I already knew as it never did for me in the past)... it did!
So pleasant purchase experience... add a $10 rewards and the set came down to 31% off :-D
Now I have 5 pods... paid for only 1 (on purpose).
BOGO 40% off Speed Champions and Technic.
50% off Dimensions... got Hermione Granger.
Batman Battle Pods on sale $5.99 (at least at my local store).
I'm still holding out for a deal on one of these, so it's kind of good to see another retailer get some stock in.

Ordered all of the DCSHG 2nd wave sets and 2 tankers.
The sets I bought are all 40% off.
This fills that void.
I could agree with this statement if they were sold in Target or somewhere else that has the greeting card section (Remember the good old days for a couple of years when the Target holiday gift cards came with pieces?). Not much of a card IMO when all you can really write on there is a name, there is no space on the back.
If this had a lower price point, like $1.50, it'd definitely be a party favor or Halloween giveaway.
The store is now located at 1466 Broadway on the SE corner of Broadway and 6th Avenue.
I made a quick stop in to check out the Lego Shop on the second floor. It's nice but it no longer has the monstrous Lego displays (ie Empire State Building w/ King Kong). There is a life size statue of Rey and BB8 along with a few minifigure statues. I didn't see any NY themed sets or polybags but never say never.
Overall, the store is fun for kids with the PLAY theme throughout the store. It has LL, 1st and 2nd floors but the footprint is much smaller than the original location. If you're in the area then it may be worth a look. It is more like a TRU "Super" Express than a flagship store. So, don't expect to see a Ferris wheel.
My local stores allows buying promos; this one goes for $5.99.
There were few left, so I only grabbed a couple... do not want to be THAT guy :-)
It also really sucks that all of the coupons lately have excluded LEGO as well.
and this:
free LEGO Star Wars R3-M2
with any LEGO constructrion (<-their typo) purchase of $30 or more ($5.99 value)
and 40% off the following sets (of course, it's 40% their price):
#70317 Fortrex
#70322 Axl's Tower Carrier
#70605 Misfortune's Keep
#70321 Magmar's Siege Machine
That kills one more place to buy Lego for me.
Won't do it unless I really find a great deal/exclusive.
Trash...
