Fake Lego question

Hi there, i bought a bag of Lego at a car boot today and found that it contained about half Lego and half fake lego. The Fake Lego has the stamp "STAR" on it. After searching google for a bit i couldn't find any mention of it and was wondering if anyone out there knew anything about it?

Any info would be great.

    There is a chinese brand called Star Diamond that I have seen on E-Bay that may be what you have parts of.
