I thought the deal was worthy of its own thread :)

Unlike the other [email protected] Black Friday weekend sale prices, this one is still in place. They must be desperate to get rid of them.

I am surprised they have not put the "retiring soon" tag on them.

Yeah. My theory is they are discounting them in the US because no one other retailer they are partnered with is selling them any longer, so they can discount them without blow back about the 'exclusives' sale restriction.

I'm not surprised they are still there though, they have been sitting around for probably 6 months, if not a year, longer than they should have. They are nice sets, but seeing them discount them now, I'll roll the dice and see if they go down another 10-15% before I pull the trigger on one.

I loved Kingdoms and the moment I saw that set, I wanted it. But too many other things came up before it. Now, Kingdoms has been done for so long, I don't feel too bad missing out on this set. That is a great price and if my Christmas money wasn't spoken for with other sets, I'd consider picking it up.

I purchased this set a long time ago when those 10% coupons existed. I'm tempted to pick up 2 more, one to connect 2 sets together, and one to save unopened for a rainy day. But I've spend so much this past few days on black friday, cyber monday, etc, that I don't know if I want to fork over more cash. Not to mention all my castle/kingdom sets are in Homedepot cardboard boxes, so who knows if I'll ever be able to connect 2 sets together, I have no space to display anything as it is...
