What are new series mini-figures worth plus Simpsons figures

NorlegoNorlego Member Posts: 449
My local Tesco is clearing out som Simpons figures and boxes of Series 11. They are 62p each. Is this a good price? I asked to get a good price if I bought them all, but the manager said he could not go any lower as he could return them to get credit back. I have heard figures being sold for 11p to clear, so this policy is followed is not through everywhere.

It's a good price if you want them, but probably not so good if you want to sell them. They have been going for as low as £1 (plus postage) on ebay (in fact, sometimes lower - some go for £1 inc postage). If selling them singly, by the time you've paid 25p to paypal and 10p to ebay and paid for the stamp to send them, you need to be selling them for £1.70ish just to break even.

Bear in mind you will probably also get the dregs after people have cherry picked.

Edit - Although aren't you the boot sale seller? You can probably get £1 each for them sealed at a boot sale, so better than flogging on ebay.

Yes, I am the carboot seller.
Just wondering if I would be able to sell them for more than a £1. I get good prices on polybags and sell them for £3-4 each. (Sold around 20 so far over 6 months.) Mega Bloks figures go for £1. But they were "free" to start with. It is a balance, buying a few to sell on is OK, but to buy 150 is more risky. (They had 3 boxes left.)
I have seen these sell for 25p each on "hot deals" sites. So I could wait until the prices go further down.
I am up in Southwest Scotland. Let me know if you are coming up david325 and I could meet you. (And maybe sell you some Hogwarths castle or Diagon Alley....)
