can anyone remember the name of that website where you can search for argos products and it gives you a really thorough run down of the availability?

^ I know you already know, but feel angry enough to have to post it.

You do know you have around a 40-50% chance that whatever you buy will be in a damaged box, right?

Yeah I know, adn agree. I've pretty much given up on them apart form anything I want to open immediately.

^^ I understand what you are saying pd, I purchased over 20 sets of LEGO last week during the 3-2 offer. I did make sure to collect all in store and was only offered 1 box with minimal damage, which was replaced straight away. I think that it is clear from the 3-2 thread that the only way to buy from Argos and get a perfect box is to collect in person.

^ The thing that really annoyed me is that today I received one of their emails asking for me to review my purchase, so I wrote a review and stated that the set was great but that the box was damaged and needed to be returned, and guess what "Your review was rejected because it didn't meet our guidelines", I have read the guidelines and nowhere can I read anything that states you cannot say anything negative about Argos...

Really annoyed me that I had to take the thing back in the first place, then they ask me to review and then reject the review because I didn't say all positive things about them, they really need to review their procedures.

I can't see me buying from them again, just out of principle.
