Stickers - annoying rubbish or cool stuff

I bought the Super Star Destroyer a few weeks ago. It came with quite a large sticker sheet but a few stickers were bent and didn't hold well on their spots. The stickers should been someway protected in the box. I've read also that many Lego collectors hate them because they're hard to put or don't look as cool as printed tiles. What do you think?

I prefer printed parts, as the designs won't peel off or look crooked when you put them on. However, some moc-ers prefer the stickers I think because they allow greater customizability.
And about the size of the sticker sheet: I don't know if you built 10241 Maersk Line Triple-E, but that sticker sheet was monstrous! each visible container has a sticker on it; took me forever to put them all on. But I'm glad I did, it would look rather bland without the stickers.
