A few weeks ago, a rep from Coca-Cola contacted SEALug about the Lego hobby. Here is her article:

Great article, but the use of the word "Legos" to me is like running finger nails down a blackboard...argh!!!

Yes. LEGO is the way to go. And cool article.

Since so many people feel so strongly about "legos", I am surprised that no one preemptively told the writer....

An American writer means American word usage. They call it Legos in a similar way to saying sheeps. :)

Nice shot of I LUG NY members taking part in the AFOL Night at LEGOLAND Westchester in the article. Nice read.

I quite agree, but will not start another "word war" on that subject! :-) The only thing I would say is that I am surprised that considering it is on a webpage belonging to that particular fizzy drink company who defend their trademark vigorously, you would have thought they might have checked it before issue?

Just out of interest, since when did Coca Cola do "journalism"?

Aren't all the big companies trying their hand at "content marketing"? Red Bull has its own monthly print magazine that covers extreme sports.....

Yeah, I guess. I only scanned the article, but I didn't see any coke-references in it, so I was wondering why they'd publish it...

Thanks for sharing, nice write up!

By the way, would love to see a cross promotion polybag or small set between these two companies, something like this maybe:
