Not Lego exactly ... but related. I finally tired of the Lego being everywhere. the problem seems so much worse after Christmas. It's not only taken over the lounge but it was filling up the kids toy boxes leaving no room for the other toys.

So we decided we were going to move all the Lego into our room and set up an area to build in there. But before we begin moving it we just needed better storage.

So after some research decided to pick up a set of the 8x9.5 Really Useful Scrapbook Drawers. They had them reduced in our local hobbycraft. I also ordered some of the 15 section trays from the Really Useful site to go with them and wow, I love it!

All the Lego in one place, I can wheel it about easily and it looks great. The latest problem is I've only sorted a small amount so far and it's getting pretty full. I'm going to need at least one more, if not two.

Downside of all of this, no spare money for Lego this month. :(
Ah, RUB products - that's another deep rabbit hole to fall down. MY RUB box addiction is beginning to rival the LEGO habit!

What started innocently with a few 9L boxes with trays to sort out spare bricks in now making access to the Lego shed nigh on impossible as I'm now buying large plastic boxes to store the unopened LEGO boxes I haven't had time to open/build yet.

When I start thinking about buying another shed for the RUB boxes for the LEGO boxes, I might need some help!

^ Did you mean to publish your address?
Probably not.  Thanks for pointing that out, even if I can’t edit the post now I don’t think.  I knew it was on the label, but wasn’t thinking just how clear it’d be when you zoom in.  Of course now if anybody wants to send me free LEGO, the whole forum knows where to do it....

Thank you costco for #42078 and #70620!  But please, no matter how good your prices are (and they’re lower than anybody else...) could you please use a shipping box?  Is that too much to ask?  I’m not a box saver mostly, glad #70620 came in a shipping box.  #42078 I’ll live with a less than pristine box, but I can see somebody being offended by this.

I've had plenty like this. A hot hairdryer on the label and a careful peel will take it off with no sign of it ever having been there.
Thanks for the tip!  I’d thought about trying that for the label.  Easy enough.  But there’s a few dings & a break on the box as well.  Not the worst I’ve gotten or could worry about.

    Yesterday I bought #41359, #41365, #41366 and #41383 for a total of 27.96€.
I'm not sure if I should post this here or on the brag thread.

Today I couldn't resist the 50% on #76085 Battle of Atlantis to get a second one and expand the one I already have, and also to increase my parademon and atlantean guard armies. And I'm still considering buying a third one.

So Im a current college student living on campus. Mother came to visit today for lunch and such, and we made a quick Target grocery shop. Near the front was a random box with about 5 CMF series 18 left in it. I figured Id feel around in the unlikely event an officer was left. My Mom asks what Im looking for and I point him out - she picks up one package and goes ‘is this his hat?’

It was. Dont know how that hung around so long! Also managed to grab a Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Sea Monster guy. All in all, pretty good!

^^ Strangely enough, I just found another Classic Police Officer at Target on Friday. They had two boxes of series 18 put out (but no TLM2 sadly) and one of them looked brand new, so a couple bags felt and poof.

Needed to buy more packing tape for mailing Lego out and ended up leaving Walmart with the Overwatch Dorado Showdown as well. $6 off isn't bad for a $30 set.

I did buy a Wicked Witch off Bricklink, specifically to display with the four figures from this series, but haven't succumbed to the flying monkeys... yet...

You could perhaps get a Wicked Witch from discounted Dimensions packs in the wild as well...

Popped to Smyths today to choose a TLM2 set. I had Bennys crew in mind, but after seeing the film yesterday and seeing it, there was only one set to get....

Saw this morning that the Earth Green window frames were back in stock on BnP so ordered what I needed to update my Christmas Mansion, plus a few extras for MOCs. Put a few extra parts to piece together the Haunted House in the cart to get the free shipping.  So happy those windows came back in stock, brinklink prices were crazy.

Not *quite* the complete range of current Lego themes, but a good attempt?

My purchasing has been pretty limited this year. With a delay in putting away my Winter Village and a lot of spending toward the end of last year, I decided to slow play the start of the year for marital stability.

That said, I just picked up the Popcorn Cart poly and the few TLM2 figs that appealed to me (Giraffe, Watermelon Guy, and the Wizard of Oz crew).

Big W has #70670 for the introductory price of $99 ([email protected] has it at $139.99), the best price we're likely to see, so we had to grab them. Decided while we grabbing them, we might as well get a few more sets marked off the list, so we cashed in some Flybuys points & jumped into one of our local Kmarts, ended up paying $11.25 for #70665 (RRP 22.99), $14.50 for #70666 (RRP 29.99), $8.25 for #70680 (RRP 15.99) & $10.00 #70841 for (RRP 15.99). One batch of the Ninjago sets are for the kids, other lot is for my MOC part supplies, but the Benny's Space Squad sets are all mine.

Today I bought a couple of Lego Movie 2 sets as they were reduced to clear. I got #70836 for the apocalyptic Batman figure (you can never have too many Batmans), though I was pleased to find that the "You're Welcome" sign is a printed piece, so I'll use that too. And I got #70824 for my daughter.  Probably. Maybe? I might keep it for myself yet.

A couple of LEGO firsts for me this week. First time I've bought a Juniors (or '4+', whatever...) set and the first time I've ever bought more than 1 copy of a given set. I think the reason is fairly obvious.

All three of #70841 were purchased on separate shopping missions. At the price they are, I can see myself picking one up every time I go until they disappear. Who the hell knows how many I'll end up with...

I was visiting relatives at the weekend and there is a massive Sainsbury's near where they live, so I thought I'd pop along to see if there were any Lego sets on sale. Sadly, there weren't any. Pretty disappointing given that I've seen on here that some other Sainsbury's stores are reducing the TLM2 sets. However, I did notice that they had the new Captain Marvel Lego set #76127 for the RRP of £25, which I am definitely interested in. I thought I'd just quickly google it on my phone to see what sort of prices it was selling for elsewhere and noticed that Argos have 20% off - £19.99. This Sainsbury's store has an Argos inside it, so I literally had to walk a few steps to pick up the set for £19.99 instead of £25! Looking forward to seeing the movie and building the set!

Haven't bought any lego in over 12 months - no time and no money as our new house has drained us completely. However have just sold a load of stuff on ebay and caved and have bought the entire harry potter collection (20% off at smyths toys in my defence)

I ordered the Porg #75203 on sale from Debenhams online click and collect (£42 instead of the RRP of £60). Went to collect it today and got given a £5 voucher to use in store, so I also bought a small #76101 Outrider Dropship for £7 instead of £12.
