Originally planned to buy two of them as present for my boys if I could not find anything worthwhile. Ultimately did not buy them because of my luggage was literally full of LEGO going back (post about mid-page).

One Wegmans had 4 #70621 at $5.42 (45% off) and 22 #30354 at $2.92 (instead of $3.99, but since I've seen that at Target for $3.49 it's more like 15% off instead of 25%). Another had 11 30354 - and lots of #70372 for $2, still overpriced
Thanksgiving Harvest
Christmas Town Square
Christmas Train Ride
Winter Village Station
Nutcracker
I started getting the Winter sets with Santa’s Workshop, but skipped the Toy Shop. Still haven’t decided if I want to go back and get it or not. It never fully sparked my interest like the Workshop and Train/Station.
I managed to track down a Trevi Fountain for him at a Barnes and Noble. I was pretty excited, because looking at most sites, it had looked like I had missed this without paying a mark-up.
Also received my copy of #21312 Women of NASA and a bunch of LED "fairy lights" from Amazon.
I did pick up the SW advent calendar at 50% off via Asda. Ordered yesterday, expected delivery Sunday but got a message today & since we were on the way there anyway, didn't even have to go out of my way.
I also pulled the trigger on this deal. I had $40 in VIP points, so I couldn’t resist.
The Bricksetter items included some surprise Christmas presents, so I will need to set up our tree!
Looking for feedback on two partial sets I recently purchased (and if there is a better place to move this to please have one of you wonderful MODs do so). I bought two 76052 Classic TV Series Batcave sets recently both listed as 'missing minifigures only' from two different people and both were missing the batcycle. One was also missing about 100 other pieces and I haven't had a chance to go through the second one yet. I think both may have been legitimately overlooked and both sellers are supposedly doing what they can to find the missing pieces and for now I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Is this common though with this set in particular or just buying 'minifig missing only' sets? It wouldn't be so bad except that both of them did this and that it's a potentially $10 portion of each set. Granted, I paid about $140 for both so even if each was missing 500 pieces it'd still be about 3.5 cents a piece. I typically only buy new and I'm thinking more and more I should stick to this if it is a common occurrence. Opinions or validation of my annoyance at this is much appreciated. :-)
Need to get the tree up some time prior to Christmas, so I think I'll stick to putting up an actual tree this year ;)
Got some DUPLO at Marshalls tonight for Christmas gifts
#10590 $13.99, #10822 $16.99 - nearly the same piece count including a few bulky ones, and 3 figures (though the 1st is 3 people and the 2nd is 1 person and 2 animals). I'm guessing Disney tax, most direct example I've seen of that
Hopefully that's the end of it - oh wait, got a mailer about a LEGO Store promo..
Have wanted it awhile but never liked the price of this set. I had them price match their own website as it was $94.99 in-store & I used $40 in rewards points & got the free #30345 I ended up paying $21.58 total w/tax
Now or to do some catching up with the builds.
It was on clearance sale at our local 7-11 stores. Cost is S$1 per minifigure which converts to around US$44 for a box of 60.
I was worried I might miss the house, and apparently I was close to do so, as it was not available anymore on that website 15 minutes after I ordered. Seems like I got the last one.
anyhow.
poped in to Argos today to buy #70917 The Ultimate Batmobile
with a little help from some christmas gift money. (Dad asked out of the blue, "do you wish to have your gift now?" ... Dum question of you ask me.)
so any how. store sold the one it had last night and it would have been 4pm before it could get one from one of the close by stores (would have had to get a taxi back down to the store that about £12 so... NO.) so had to pay for home Delivery (£4 bet's out £12 any day.), however i did get a free #5004934 out of the deel. (argos have that priced up at £4.99 that's a rip off.)
now the only TLBM set i still wish to get it the Bat-Space Shuttle.
for a lego Theme i told my self i was not going to buy any set from look like i well end up with 4 set from the theme.
now as it was part payed from my christmas gift cash. do i Rap it up and place it under the tree to open christmas day or. just place it on my for once emtey build stack.
well today i found a set priced at dead on £40 on amazon prime now. that been growing on me for months. each time i seen it i wish to own it just a little bit more.
well today i pull the trigger on #41317 Sunshine Catamaran. 38% off.
i know it's been lower but i did not think it would get back down to the low price it got to when Argos or Tesco ran there 3 for 2. also. i kind of want it for Christmas.
also also, as other members know i have a week point for Boats the only boat that not calling out to me is #71042 Silent Mary that one only whisper to me in a small voice "buy me" but most of the time it is over powered by the voice that tell me "OVER PRICED!" if it has been priced up at say £119.99 i have a far harder time of not buying it.
anyhow.
i got more lego.
and there i was trying to save up some Cash for bigger set's. ah well #10260 downtime Diner dose not need to be got yet. and #10255 Assembly Square can wait a little longer. dont think i can wait to long now on #21310 old Fishing Store. will have to pick that up in the next 2 months.
