^Ordered Friday morning and got my shipping notice Monday morning.

^Darn OK - I think Saturday with all the additional promos it probably created a back log - I just haven't seen it last this long.  Of course, as soon as I ordered the status was already "in warehouse".

Has anyone ordered over the weekend from [email protected] (at least in the U.S.) and had their order ship yet?  As of this AM mine is still in warehouse.
I ordered on Saturday and it still hasn't shipped.

I just bought #60051 High-Speed Passenger Train for £59.97 from Amazon.co.uk. It's just about the cheapest that it has ever been, according to camelcamelcamel, so thought it was worth getting it now.

Just put in a BL order for lots of LBG / DBG tiles, some extra modular-style lamp posts, silver grills, a white bicycle (to add to the collection) and a few other odds and sods...
I've now managed to acquire at least one of each of the currently available bicycle colours.
I was hoping to complete the collection, but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay the prices for the three missing colours. The black one looks relatively easily come by, but the dark pink and yellow ones are quite old and rare, from what I can see. Maybe one day! :-)

@JudgeChuck Now you made me look up yellow and dark pink bicycles! Only 1 set with yellow, and 4 Team Telekom ones with dark pink. Learning something new every day! Prices for these seem within reach, but yes, not cheap for a bicycle.

They're not expensive in the grand scheme of things, but they *are* expensive for a small bicycle, as you say!
I'm thinking about it at the moment and in contact with a seller. :-)

Winter Train Holiday Train, Star Wars Advent Calendar, 3 PAB Cups (although one is being shipped north to a frie...enem...budd...acquanta...well, whatever @SumoLego is), and the free 24-in-1 set.

During my first 36 years on this planet, I owned 0 LEGO trains. During my 37th, I've now purchased 4.

Oh, and I didn't buy it, but the Disney Castle looks very impressive in person. Luckily, the new Death Star looks no different than my existing one. So on one hand, I'll be giving LEGO more money soon. On the other, not as much as I once expected.

Bought an XXXL box for £33 yesterday. Had some Tesco vouchers due to expire that I needed to use up, and The price sounded fairly good... Now I can MOC without worrying over which set(s) I'm cannibalizing!
  • josekaleljosekalel Member Posts: 683
So, not a big fan of the Elves sets, but could not ignore #41176 The Secret Market Place for $15.00, #60077 Space Starter for $3.00, and #70333 Ultimate Robin for $5.00.

Can Walmart stop putting stuff on clearance??

Bought the UCS Slave 1 yesterday at a 25% discount. Now that's a sweet deel for such a set!

I take it you live in the south of England, Chris? You wouldn't be so cocky if you were anywhere north of Birmingham! Up North the winter hears you and retaliates. :-)

Great haul this week, some of these sets courtesy of @SumoLego . I wonder how long I can avoid opening them.

If you're like me, however long it is until you have a free hour...

Actually, the egg painting one is small. Make that however long until you have a free ten minutes. ;)

Placed 3 PaB orders last night, all just over £50.  Be interseting to see if they honour the 3 promises of a London bus...

So I walked into my local TRU and saw this on the shelf. It isn't a very old set but still a surprise to be hanging around.

Just came back from the local LEGO store and picked up the #75828 Ghostbusters ECTO-1 & 2, two sets of the Nindjas Mixels, 2 Cheshire Cat Disney CMFs (one will be given to my in-laws), Penguin Suit CMF for a coworker, Devil Imp CMF to make Evil Homer (but I found the hat doesn't really fit...), another Banana Suit CMF, and another #40222 Christmas Countdown GWP. I also got a Mariachi CMF and Hot Dog Suit keychain for my wife :)

Local store had a 30% clearance that's now 50%. Got 2 #70335 . Going back for more nexo ultimate and then maybe #31042 Super Soarer for army (err, air force) building...

I might get many Panel 1 x 2 x 1 with Rounded Corners and Center Divider (part 93095) from bricklink. It lets minidolls sit down, particularly seats to go with #41105 . I've saved them from sets I've opened but only have a few.

So many sales, so little time...we should quit telling ourselves that we're going to quit.

That should be in the clones thread.
looks like a different kind of building toy - weight building. ;) But seriously, reminds me of the Crosswise brand which connects with ridges rather than studs.

Didn't order any Lego for a week now (what's wrong with me?!) but bought some drawers to store polybags and CMF's until I figure a more permanent solution. They were currently a bit *everywhere*, and I like to be organised...

I finally purchased a couple of document storage boxes, so that I can properly store all my LEGO instruction booklets and spare sticker sheets. I had been keeping them in the bottom of some of my containers, with each theme's bricks, but they take up far too much room, which can be used for LEGO bricks. What a relief it has been! :-)

@JudgeChuck I'm also on the lookout for a storage solution for instructions. What did you end up getting? @snowhitie also posted a picture a while ago of a document storage solution that looked good.

A few orders off of Bricklink to complete a couple of Western sets I recently put back together.  Can't wait to get those packages!

Oh, nothing fancy, I'm afraid... Just a few expandable storage cases, similar to these:

    https://www.whsmith.co.uk/products/fellowes-black-bankers-box-expanding-handifile-pack-of-1-9351501/9016000009069

I got mine from Sainsburys, but I couldn't find them online. They were cheaper than the ones I have linked above!

As I said, they're nothing fancy, but they do hold quite a few booklets each and, hopefully, will keep them well-protected.

How many instruction booklets do each hold?
@snowhitie How many booklets do you manage to put in your document storage boxes?

  • tallblocktootallblocktoo Member Posts: 497
@stlux  One box will go a fair ways.  My collection of 170 or so odd sets I've managed to store probably 3/4 of the directions in a single box.  It certainly will depend on the size of the instruction books you own.
