#76060 just had to come home with me today.  I had planned to use it towards a minimum purchase at s@h, but when it jumped into my basket what else could I do?

I sent my wife on the hunt for the last 2 CMFs I need for series 16. I hope she has better luck than me. I wouldn't mind her bringing another babysitter fig home.

Bought some PAB cups of misc bricks recently, though they're mostly non-standard parts like the turntable base & top, 1x1 tile with top clip, 1x1 plate with tooth, bambo plant, flower stem, wedge plate, bricks with side studs, 1x4 curve etc.

Any word on if those turntables will be at all the stores? If not, where are you located?

Got #76047 Black Panther Pursuit 20% off at TRU today. Really wanted #76067 Tanker Truck Takedown, but they were out. Might place an online order for it tonight.

Those two will complete my Captain America; Civil War collection... Not sure how that happen, I only wanted one set to begin with: #76051 Super Hero Airport Battle because of Giant-Man :-)

Stopped at my local Walgreens, which never have any LEGO (or at least when I visit), and this time found #41519 Glurt Mixels as I'm trying to complete my collection as I arrived late to the party.

The white 2x2 turntable plates were at the Retail Store in Victor for awhile.  I think it was part of the panda mini-build.

I think these loose parts that were available for PAB purchases are released on a worldwide basis, so other Lego stores around the world should have it, though here in SG I went to another Lego store but their PAB section seems to have quite a few different parts than the previous store.

I was able to get the Palace Cinema from @TheMaker37, I got #60134 Fun in the Park and #60107 Fire Ladder Truck from Amazon, both discounted.

Still wondering if I should get #60052 Cargo Train, it looks nicer than the #60051 High Speed Passenger Train.

I say go for #60052 Cargo Train.

For me, the cargo train is a lot of fun to build and it has more play value on it's own. To enjoy the passenger train I think you also need #60050 Train Station and at least one more passenger train set that you can make into 2 extra passenger cars (I think the passenger train looks silly with just one passenger train).

I saw #60052 at TRU for about 170.00, I think. I just noticed that the price was less than MSRP of $200.00 as I was passing through.

    It's $135.99 at Amazon.

Question for everyone, out of topic, what should I expect for LEGO sales on Black Friday? I had never focused on toys, but what do you usually get?

Last couple years Walmart has a giant Duplo and giant Creator brick buckets for $30 each. I think 1500 or 1600 parts? Best deal for new bricks you can find just about and I always try to get a couple. Target tends to have 2-3 large sets that have just about disappeared from retail months before if not longer. If you see a set or two suddenly stocked on an endcap in November you haven't seen for sale in a long time it is a solid bet that will be the BF specials. Amazon has lightning deals that sell out in nanoseconds. TRU does a number of things but are less predictable.

Anyone have any advice on Black Friday UK deals? I was in a large Tesco branch that day last year, and there wasn't anything very heavily discounted in the Lego dept, but if I'm organised ahead this year I wouldn't mind trying somewhere with more choice, online or off...

Just ordered a few Nexo Knights sets off Amazon. Two were to replace some bought from S@H that got smashed in delivery.

Just ordered 3 Winter Village sets today, #10222, #10229 and #10235. Now for the first time I have completed a collection. I even have both copies of the toy shop, the older version was in a lot I bought. Guess this means I am compelled to buy every Winter Village set for all time whether I like it or not;) I'm waiting for you Holiday Train!!!

I saw a few #10235 Winter Village Market 20% off at the LEGO store in Downtown Disney a couple of weeks ago. I had recently bought one online for 10% more than RRP a couple of month ago in the account that it was retired and pricier in other places :-(

took advantage of the 10€ reduction for my first order on s@h for the ferrari F40. I suppose I have to be home when they try to deliver? I saw no option for them to drop it at the post office or wherever.

#70804 Ice Cream Machine turned up today, which I picked up from eBay for just under RRP so, apart from still wanting #70811 The Flying Flusher, I've got everything I want from this theme.

MrsB decided I should have the city advent calendar while I was nosing around the lego store so I threw on a couple of reduced polys to cross the DKr 220 threshold for a free dragon only for them to have run out. Might have them back in tomorrow though if I go back with the receipt.

So I have a question: I know large sailing ships do seem to increase in value a lot after being discontinued. Anyone think that'll happen with the Ninjago Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty? I know it is modified to fly and has engines and all that stuff, but it is a really nice Chinese junk. Thoughts?
  • josekaleljosekalel Member Posts: 683
Well, since #60052 is down to $123.99, there is no way I can say no...there goes my discipline...
