I wish I took a picture of the Dolphin Rapunzel Rocket Cruiser.
It's true, there's no real reason they had to change the genders of the main characters, but conversely, there's no real reason NOT to. Whether the movie is funny and exciting will depend on the performance of the actors, writers, and director, not on their genders. I don't really know these actors really well and am not too familiar with their previous work, but if their acting chops were cause for concern I'd expect to see more armchair critics making a big deal of that and not of their gender.
And if you think this is a serious enough issue to call it "evil" or call for a boycott, and you don't recognize how utterly ridiculous that sounds, then I guess your understanding of comedy (and of reality) is even shakier than your previous statements made it seem.
I mean how can you tell me this doesn't look like utter sh*t

Overall, you're still just making a whole lot of assumptions that seem to be based more on your own prejudices than on anything grounded in reality. For instance, the notion that things that are funny when men do them can't be as funny when women do them, or that grown women can't interest kids as well as grown men can, or that female comic actors' performances can only ever be "retreads" of their previous roles. Do you not see how these things might seem slightly sexist, not to mention arbitrary?
And no, that image doesn't look like shit to me. It looks like a group of people in stylized exterminator uniforms, much like the original team. Granted, it's a more grounded approach to the costumes than the original movies — looking a bit more D.I.Y. and less like they came onto the job as experts in commercial branding. This slightly more grounded approach is also apparent in the design of the new proton packs and Ecto 1. It's basically a reversal of the over-the-top lights and gimmicks used in the costumes and props for Ghostbusters 2, which were blatantly designed for toy store shelves. The new visual identity makes it easier to believe that this team is fairly new to this whole ghost-hunting-for-hire thing, and also looks like it'll make it that much easier for fans to dress up as their favorite characters.
And Batman. Can't forget Batman.
And grabbed two more Bricktober Town Halls from TRU.
(Back on track!)
or did you just buy it for the minifig?
that would be a costly minifig.
those cars really look cool. not really digging the ferrari with the racing decals nor the formula 1 sets... i need something to go with my Ford HotRod set when it comes out!
trying to decide if i just get all the needed part from Lego's online Pick a Brick (PaB) and Brick and Pieces (BaP) Or to try and bricklink part of the order. (as i am using this part's order to push me over the £50 for free shipping on [email protected] i can not Bricklink all the part's. that and no bricklink shop has all the part's i need. :/
right now i have all the element numbers, and there Price on PaB-online and BaP.
i know what part's cost less on each one. still works out to £21.67 for around 165 odd parts. a good part of that is a 16x32 base plate at £3.73 and 21x White Brick 1x6 at 21p each. as well as 31 White Brick 1x4 at 12p each. and the White Plate 6x8 at 52p don't help. that is £12.38 of the order i need in just them items.
this is for my Lego Shop MOC that i am working on.
The storyline is cobbling two non-simultaneous storylines together.
Overall, it's another Lego game. It's more of the same from the first one, Dimensions, the Lego Movie, etc. I'll expect that we'll be on the pre-order list for the next SW Lego game...
there is PaB (pick a brick)
AND
BaP (bricks and pieces)
in my lego shop there is only PickABrick under themes. under categories i can select personalized items, which also takes me to pickabrick!

i had to go to "kundenservice" ->"steine und teile" -> "replacement parts" ... its some weird english/german crossover. though i have put my lego site to english language!
...to replace the ones from my Space Port collection whose functions have been destroyed by battery corrosion (past self who let that happen: I hate you), but there's also some more light bricks in there which will be a very nice bonus.
Also, my Creator Mountain Hut came in at Tesco Direct, a day early! :)
Anyway, the love of ninjago is getting hard now, some of the steampunk pirates sets are stunning. Sadly, that might be taking quite a bit of my money in 2016 - I'm currently just holding off until a decent discount (or particularly gloomy day) comes along.
I do order some extras on their own to alter from time to time, but with the two newest ones there were other things in the sets I wanted, so in the end it made more sense to get duplicates of the entire sets.
As for Ninjago...
My love came with the ghost-themed sets. I have never seen the show, but loved some of those sets. Now, I have 5 of them, the titanium dragon, all 6 flyers, the Dimensions packs, and, in 2 weeks after a visit to the LEGO store, the Temple. The steampunk ones do look good, but I'm trying my best to hold back.
Anyway, are we allowed to know what you're making?
the ninjago ghost theme set's are awesome. and there useful in other ways.
when you see a ghost who you going to call?
the steampunk set's (or as lego call them skybound set's) are cool. and if i see the airship's at a good price i may get them, i may also pick up the lighthouse set later on in the year.
there is 1 more ghost theme set i am going to get and that is the £89.99 #70732 City of Stiix set. as i had 2 gold airblade's i used spare part's to make the black airblade from my 2nd gold one. so i have a full set of 5 now. right now i am missing 5 set's to complete the ghost theme set's City of Stjix i am going to get and the #70730 Chain Cycle Ambush set i am most likely to get. with #70735 Ronin R.E.X last on my list. i just dont like how it looks.
and my love of ninjago started with 1 set. #70737 Titan Mech Battle.
picked it up as it was cheap. did not think doing that was going to lead me down the road of spending all that money on one theme. that i had never looked at until seeing one cheep set on Black Friday.
One of my three projects: http://bricksetforum.com/discussion/comment/414188/#Comment_414188
The second project is extra carriages for my Horizon Express.
The third is another train.
getting #30200 zombie chauffeur coffin car

with Order should be the bonus items of Nexo Knights Battle Station and Robin's Mini Fortrex.
next is to save up my money for 2x VIP Points next month.
now ware am i going to display Mr Wall-E?
after using the hotdogman keychain for around 2 weeks i fell in love with him so much that i bricklinked the minifig.
Have three Lone Ranger sets on the way including the great looking Stagecoach.
Also just took advantage of some bargains on [email protected] and ordered Brick Bounty, Soldier Fort, Shipwreck Defense, MTT, Hydra Fortress Smah and Swamp Police Starter set. Split it into two orders to double up on Nexo Knights Battle Station and Robin's Mini Fortrex.
I can hardly bare to think about just how much I've spent since getting back into Lego late last year :)
