It’s funny, I’m not a car guy at all, but Speed Champions use the most ingenious building techniques to pack so much detail into a small space.
This current set of BAM pieces has to be among my favorite to date!
I bought #75348 today.
I might go back tomorrow for #75346; I think I now have enough Rewards points for a $5 discount.
Can't wait to see what other treasures you'll uncover!
Pretty excited!
The WV station is just missing the minifigures, the other station a few small parts. The passenger train is a hot mess, missing a lot of parts and minifigures, but it was modded with an extra Power Functions setup and some Technic bricks(?)
Nice haul.
A quick chat with CS confirmed no additional boxes they could ship out. So, VIP points were the solution. I felt they maybe could have offered a little more, but I won't be too picky as I've benefited from very generous VIP gifts before.
All in all, super happy with my purchase and keeping current with the helmets. I can't wait to start building them!
I think it's probably fairly obvious which theme I've been focusing on lately in my collecting journey...
There was a new vendor at the con this year who had an absolutely phenomenal selection of classic sets all priced very reasonably. Most of this haul was from that one vendor. It was really difficult to limit myself to just what I ended up getting.
In addition to the amazing Dragon Knights (Dragon Masters) sets, I'm particularly pleased with #6699 from classic Town and the Fabuland sets.
I got my #71792, plus 40647 Lotus Flowers and 3 BAM- all with the "armored" unicorn heads, and pretty random other parts. There was a dearth of poseable minifig legs- a fair amount of short legs, lots of dress pieces, amist no regular legs.
To the park!!!
I suppose the store could say "you've got a head, you need a hat/helmet/hair piece..."
