@Phoenixio is that sarcasm? Yes, people are building armies out of figures designed to be army builders. On facebook so many people showing their haul which looks like they went to every store available in their area and grabbed only the orcs and falconers.
Considering that the torso, shield and most accessories are available on Pick a Brick for much cheaper, there definitely are better ways to build Black Falcon armies...
Yes, but these Falcon torsos/legs/arms are different than the widespread available version. Plus, having the falcon may add to some people's builds.

Well, I think a minifig needs to either kick LEGO's server(and risk injuring their itty bitty feet), or ask it politely to behave. All my orders are showing as 'unknown.'

Decided I wanted the Moving Truck GWP more than a discount so [email protected] order has finally gone in for #10312 Jazz Club. Still miffed I missed the vintage taxi so think I need to track that down for as reasonable a price as possible now.

@Modeltrainman. You might need to call LEGO.  They did some server maintenace and a system upgrade last Friday I believe.  At least, that is what I was told when my last order got hung up.   Took a couple days to sort it out but it was all fixed and the order arrived today.

Just purchased the ‘23 speed champions line & some items for some Easter baskets. Quickly added up to get the GWP.

I’m not a car person, but the SC line is my favorite thing lego right now. Would love to see a VW van in 8 wide someday, (but they’ll have to partner it with a Porsche engine…)

You mean you bought a more expensive set that wasn't new?

I found #30643 Easter Chickens at Target, in the seasonal section on an endcap. There were a few more in the adjacent aisle.

Wife needed some stuff from Target. We were waiting in checkout line and I saw some CMF 24 packs. Figured I would start feeling through them to see if I could quickly find a Black Falcon. Felt through 8 or so without finding a Falconer. We were up for checkout in a few seconds, so I just grabbed the next two and threw them in our basket. First opened was the Rococo Aristocrat. Not my first or second choice, but it's a decent one. Second was a Falconer! Woot!

Mission accomplished. Second Bricklink purchase - much better than eBay. There may be trouble ahead…

I'm hunting for the moving van too, didn't have enough to hit the GWP threshold. I found the taxi at a local LEGO show, one of the traders had several GWP at reasonable prices. Hoping that the van is amongst them later this year.
Bought the Creator bunny for Miss Speedy, and hoping it placates her want for a pair of real rabbits for Easter! Dropped a couple of the new SC sets in as well for a brace of Easter relateed GWPs

Feeling overly confident from my previous purchase, I thought I might track down another missed GWP, #6373604 Ulysses Space Probe…but at those prices I really don’t think so. So this should probably be under “What won’t you be buying anytime soon”.

Just got the latest Space Shuttle set. It's quite nice! Not so bothered about the spaceman alt-build, but the Vic Viper looks good.

I posted a few days ago about how I got the BAM tower shut down at the Disneyland Lego store due to them having no legs in stock.  Was still shut down on Tuesday when I checked before flying home that evening.  I did manage to purchase 7 assorted BAM 3 packs over the course of the week including some of the Orange Brick Guy, Red Boat & Firework with various random body parts, a bunch of the purple flower hat piece but unfortunately never found the torso meant to go with it, some of the Lute & blue bunny accessories as well as acouple of the bluebird & candy cane piece so I think I did pretty good maximizing the value of minifig parts I did get based on the PAB selling prices of the same or similar parts.
As for the PAB wall I managed to cram 120 each, so 240 total, of the Lavender 5x6 limb Elements into two Large PAB cups as well as whatever additional random pieces I could find to fill in most of the empty spaces.  So essentially the online PAB cost of those 240 pieces almost broke even for what I paid for the 4 total PAB cups I purchased and all the other parts in the two cups with the limbs and the other 2 large cups was just bonus parts for what I paid for all 4.  The other two cups had a mix of 1x6x6 door frames, 4x6 & 8x6 plates, 8x8 corner & half circle plates, a bunch of assorted 1×2 roof tiles, 2x3 flat tiles with angle in medium stone gray and some other random stuff as well as a few random torsos, heads, hair pieces, a boom box  and 3 of the trans orange cup pieces I managed to find in the 4 bins of random mixed parts in the PAB wall.
Also purchased a few smaller sets I wanted to spend enough to get 2 each of the Easter Bunny & Easter Polybag GWP'S.

Was visiting a few Targets today looking for some non-Lego stuff but as usual had to check the Lego in each store I visited.  No Polybags or Minifigs anywhere although they still have pegs labeled for Lego at the checkouts in each store I visited.  One store actually had #41448 on clearance for $14.99 so I grabbed it.  I rarely ever find any Lego at that big of a price reduction in Target and it's been a very long time since I found anything at a decent clearance price in a Target.

I was able to order #77013 and #77015 before they went on backorder. Can’t wait to build them and rewatch Raiders.
  • karritkarrit Member Posts: 983
Picked up #77013 at Barnes & Noble since Lego.com was out of stock.  The other two Indy sets & the Up House will have to wait for restocks and/or discounts somewhere.  Also picked up #76409 from Kohls with an expiring $5.00 Kohls Cash Discount so got it for $29.99.

#76254 Baby Rocket's Ship and a large PAB cup, and #40606 Spring Fun VIP pack.
I'm at the county park and thinking about building the ship here.

Target had the Out of the this World book with suggestions of scifi/fantasy models and a small scale classic space ship style model. Didn't scan and they let me have it for $10, online price seems to be about $20, afraid they would have wanted $30 or $40
Cardboard section to support model makes book seem a lot thicker, reminds me of hollowed books as a way to hide things
The suggested builds and the stories around them look cool too
