Not sure why I need more Falcons, but when PAB has them you have to move fast.

When I returned an Amazon purchase to Kohl's I was given a $5 gift card to spend that day in store.

I think I have enough finally saved up for the Castle.  Give me any sort of GWP or double points and I will buy.

Reached out to someone on FB Marketplace to inquire on the price for a set they posted. They ended up wanting way more than I felt it was worth. However, we started chatting about me being new to the area and places to find deals. I mentioned I like bulk lots and sifting through for potential treasures. He responded that he had two small uhaul boxes full of bulk (about 1.5 cubic feet each) that he was looking to sell. He hadn't been through them at all for a while, but felt there was some good stuff in them. The price seemed reasonable. Making a little bit of a gamble, but figure I can at least pull a set or two out and then resell the boxes for what I'm paying.

A little bit of a premature post as I don't have them in hand yet, but should be picking them up tonight and also stopping by Scheels to snag some polybags for members of the forum. Fingers crossed I find a gem or two.

(Literally. if there could be a diamond or a few emeralds in there, I wouldn't be opposed)

Small update to my recent post a couple above, but I finally managed to meet up with the guy and get both boxes. It's just over 50lbs of bulk. Unfortunately, I've already sorted out about 5lbs of MegaBloks. No cat turds at least.

I also realized I misread his original message. I thought it said, "They're are a lot of minifigs in them, just not sure what." But it actually said, "They're aren't a lot of minifigs in them, just not sure what." I likely would have offered less had I realized the promised sets were sans figs.

Still, the price per pound was right and I'll come away with a few new sets and a bunch of bulk to play around with!

I've just done a pick and build order to restore my #75172 Y-Wing Starfighter to replace the faded parts, however I was some ways off being eligible for free shopping and the gift with purchases so I also picked up #10696 Medium Creative Brick Box for more spares and storage, which qualified me for free shipping and the #40515 Pirates and Treasure VIP pack, which will be a nice expansion for my #31109 Creator Pirate Ship.

Lastly, I used a coupon code at checkout and got a free #40383 Wedding Bride Brickheadz too. I'm not too keen on the Brickheadz so I'll either use it for parts, try to sell it (when Lego themselves have been struggling as it's been on discount like forever), give it away or save it for a rainy day.

Found Series 23 CMF's in my Walmart today.  Got 11 of the 12 figures.  I still need the Wolf.

It's been a slow week as I got outbid on a number of things, but I still managed to progress.

#75175 A-Wing Starfighter in Return of the Jedi red. Now I can part out or resell my green #75150 Rebels A-Wing.

#SW0762 Bespin Guard minifigure. I'm not quite sure what to do with it but I thought about having it push the Han Solo in carbonite block from #75137 as a little bit of scenery for my vehicles.

And four new 8cm angled display stands from iDisplayit. I probably should have ordered a few more to save on postage but I expected to get outbid on the red A-wing. My starting bid went untouched for 6 days plus which was surprising to say the least!

Have my order in for CMF S23 but thought I’d get a random one while out earlier and got this chap…best minifigure snowman to date. With a spare nose just in case of peckish reindeer.

Finished my CMF series 23 collection when I acquired the Wolf Costume guy.  Was also able to add few more of the Knight and a couple more of the Nutcracker and Reindeer.   Not sure yet if I'll be keeping the extras of the Reindeer.  I think this is the quickest I've been able to complete a series since I stated collecting them a few years back.

Found #6264 for decent money, sadly figs are in worse shape than anticipated, and one yellow 4x8 plate isn't LEGO (will have to recheck all the other pieces now...), but it'll make a fine side-build to PoBB when I finally unseal it.

Incase you're curious, this was my box distribution (bottom is the front of the box). I got 4 of 2, and only 2 of 4. Apart from that is was all fine.

@Basty I didn't make a note of the distribution but starting from the front right it was 3x same CMF, 3x same CMF etc etc for most of the right side so it was quite easy to feel out! If I recall correctly the first 3 were Wolf Costume, the next 3 were Ferry Captain. Sadly cannot recall the rest! 😂

I got #71770 Zane's Golden Dragon Jet for $30.99 (RRP $34.99) at Hub Hobby in Little Canada. Their prices are generally a little above RRP, but they seem not to have adjusted the prices of the ones that got increased recently. Or maybe just not all of them, I didn't check every price. But the #42145 Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter was $199.99, $10 off RRP.

Grabbed #75342 today at my local Lego store for the AFOL day discount. Surprised it was in stock. They also gave me the VIP Pirate pack gwp even though I didn’t reach the threshold.

Was really hoping the AT-TE would be in stock, too, but no dice. According to the Lego store employee, they only get 3 per shipment, twice a week, and there are people waiting at the door on those mornings to buy them.

I've just made a pick and build order to replicate the #77904 Nebulon-B Frigate. Most of the parts were available directly from Lego, but I had to colour swop the Fez from medium stone grey to silver and the 1x2 plate with teeth from dark stone grey to black to get them all from the same place. Hopefully it will turn out ok before I source replacements elsewhere. I'm not too bothered about the 40th anniversary plaque and I may yet make my own less obtrusive stand, but it's another vehicle and more scenery for my Star wars shelves.

I also added #11017 Creative Monsters to bump me up for free delivery and spares to part out, which qualified me for another #40515 Pirates and Treasure VIP add on pack to finally fill out my #31109 Pirate Ship with a full complement of four cannons, and I redeemed a code to claim yet another #40383 Brickheadz wedding bride to part out into my collection.

Just had my small order of #40547 Obi Wan and Vader Brickheadz and two white baseplates arrive. Good to know shipping to my new place takes about a week less than my prior home! Ordered on Monday morning and got the knock on the door early today. About 4 days to the hour between ordering and arriving.

Anxiously awaiting the WV set release!

It's been a slow week after being outbid on a number of sets, but picked up #SW0709 Han Solo in his Hoth parka jacket and sat him atop the #75298 Tauntaun microfighter. Luckily the Tauntaun came with the clips to hold both of his accessories too.

That meant the #SW1143 Hoth Luke Skywalker was demoted to hanging from a loose replica of the upcoming calendar Wampa cave, but together they tell a bit more of the story and fill out what otherwise would have been dead space.

I also managed to pick up #11016 creative building bricks for £25 from Asda, reduced from £45. Result!

Found the one WalMart in my area that still had them in stock.  Ordered two and opted for the curbside pickup - works pretty well...except for the downpours today.  So 2 slightly wet Galaxy Explorers for $150 ain't bad =oD

Here’s a good representative picture. I see parts of BB-8 and a Ferrari. Hopefully I’m pleasantly surprised to find mostly whole sets. I checked the seller’s recent sales (after buying, of course) and I couldn’t see any evidence that the sets were split across multiple lots, so that’s something.

Thanks for the heads up! I just ordered one for pickup today. Also found a $10 coupon, so I paid less than $70 out-the-door. This set was a maybe for me, I wanted one but other sets have a higher priority. At this price, though, I couldn't resist.

I also received #75337 today. I bought it from Zaavi with a 15% off promo. Free shipping and it came from England in less than a week. This is my second Zaavi purchase and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised they can offer in-demand sets for a discount like this, and also ship free all the way from England.

So, I didn't buy it TODAY, but last night, I bought #80109 with the intention of using it for Layout 2.0 and its WV section, Lord willing. LEGO shipped it this morning. That might be the fastest turnaround from order click to marked as shipped I've seen in my time.

^^^ Update on my last bulk lot, most of the Ferrari 430 was present and just needed a few parts from my collection.  The stickers are actually decent for being 15 year old STAMPs. Now to tackle BB-8, I don’t think it’s all here.
