Not sure when I'll get a chance to build it with all the footie on.
Short term memory loss and compulsive ordering are common symptoms of being sumoed but they wear off soon, provided no additional GWP offers drop.
Special books.
Excited to share when they come in (they're from overseas, so I'm looking at mid-July).
EDIT: And I just realised I don't know how to link sets in here, hoped it works like in the comments.
How does space prevent buying? I make myself crazy finding room for stuff before and after building but it NEVER affects ordering. Only my budget does that.
I started out with limited space to begin with, so generally I try to find a spot for something before even buying it (the problem really is appropriate space - I have 4 cats). It stopped me from getting that 7500-piece Millennium Falcon, for example.
Unrelated observation, the new season of Hoarders is on Hulu.
The discovery that empty Lego boxes sometimes fit inside other Lego boxes helped but thinking of it like Tetris may help more! What I do not undrerstand is how the observation that the new season of Hoarders us on Hulu us "unrelated" or it it only hoarding if you don't build or even open the Lego boxes.
It’s only hoarding if you save the plastic inner bags for food storage :)
As for actual purchases... Castle, Kakapo and Flight. You know the ones. Roll on 2022 :(
They always find out.......
The Mall of America store has #75290 Mos Eisley Cantina and #75292 The Razor Crest in stock.
The Dickens set is lovely, I'd be all over that.
Made the decision to drive into my local LEGO Store during a long lunch today. I got the Daisy, Scrooge and H/D/L, Hagrid and kids, and Voledmort/Bellatrix BHZ, along with the Minnie and Mickey brick sketch sets, the Adidas GWP, and a Friends poly bag. They also said there was a "Purchase with Purchase" offer. It was two decks of playing cards done up in LEGO style. usually $17.99, but available with my purchase for $12.99. I ended up passing, but thought it was an interesting bonus item nonetheless.
Checked some more BHz off my list, added some GWP sets to my stash, a couple more brick sketches, and 1500+ VIP points. Not a bad trip!
(They also had 1x2 white tiles on the PAB wall among a few other nice parts. I may end up back there tomorrow to fill a cup or two)
