Just picked up Daily Bugle at Metrocentre. Took my Razor Crest back - a mate of mine just built his and wasn't impressed with the build or the finished article.

Not sure when I'll get a chance to build it with all the footie on.

I don't know if anybody remembers, but in #76899, the Urus was the car to avoid. Ironically, Walmart can't keep #76899 in stock. I'm sad now. I actually LIKE the Urus. Consider this "What I WOULD be buying now."

Is it bad that I placed an order to get the swing ride GWP and I don't even remember what I ordered? I think there was a Brickheadz or 2 (maybe the new Disney Ducks?) and maybe a couple SW sets? Or was it the new HP Brickheadz? Ugg.. I guess I'll find out when they get here!

I recently found a #6442 on eBay at a fair price. I've wanted to start collecting 1997 Divers sets since elementary school, but this is my first one (I do have a bunch of the 2015 series). Eventually, I'd love to create a display of Divers, Aquazone, and Atlantis sets

If you check your direct messages, you will likely find missives from a user named @LegoPolyBags repeatedly telling you to Order stuff, send me the GWP...Order stuff, send me the GWP, ...

Short term memory loss and compulsive ordering are common symptoms of being sumoed but they wear off soon, provided no additional GWP offers drop.

    Books.

    Special books.

Excited to share when they come in (they're from overseas, so I'm looking at mid-July).

After recently getting out of my dark ages through SW sets, I wrestled mightily with myself, but finally bit the bullet and bought Assembly Square and Bookshop to start off my LEGO City I honestly don't have any space for... plus an ice-cream truck and #76173 for some more pizzaz. I'm starting to think I might have a problem, but once I assemble everything (including my still boxed Razor Crest and a couple smaller SW sets), hopefully the complete lack of space left will bring me back to sanity.
EDIT: And I just realised I don't know how to link sets in here, hoped it works like in the comments.

Forgot to post this from a week or 2 ago…

Ninjago Season 4 was one of my favorites, so #71735 was a no-brainer.  I was also excited to fill a PAB cup for the first time in a year or more…

I can vouch that lack of space won't hamper buying more and more Lego. Right now I can see piles of boxes filled with built sets that I have no more shelving to put on.

How does space prevent buying? I make myself crazy finding room for stuff before and after building but it NEVER affects ordering. Only my budget does that.

I started out with limited space to begin with, so generally I try to find a spot for something before even buying it (the problem really is appropriate space - I have 4 cats). It stopped me from getting that 7500-piece Millennium Falcon, for example.

Agreed - it just enhances the challenge of Tetrising more LEGO efficiently into a smaller space.

Unrelated observation, the new season of Hoarders is on Hulu.

The discovery that empty Lego boxes sometimes fit inside other Lego boxes helped but thinking of it like Tetris may help more! What I do not undrerstand is how the observation that the new season of Hoarders us on Hulu us "unrelated" or it it only hoarding if you don't build or even open the Lego boxes.

Of course they sent me one of those, and a receipt, and a shipping notice, but looking at one of those would ruin the surprise that I have inadvertently created for myself!

Has there ever been an episode featuring a Lego hoard? Seems inevitable ;-)
    That would be a tragedy.

Especially if it was covered in the usual pile of cockroaches and cat urine.

Found a £50 JL gift voucher that I got after our company rebranded. So Thanos Gauntlet is on order for collection tomorrow for less than a tenner.

I made #71735 last night, it's great, lots of awesome Ninjago MFs. So now I'm thinking about the other sets with the Gold figs in them. That's how they get you, isn't it? Sneaky TLG.

As for actual purchases... Castle, Kakapo and Flight. You know the ones. Roll on 2022 :(

Thanks to the Bricks & Pieces thread I ordered a blue punk rock kitty and a number of other nice bits I have had in my wish list for awhile. Even though I just did the order I can't remember half of what was in it so I guess it will be a surprise.

B n P is my new addiction - I'm currently waiting (impatiently) for 6 orders to arrive. Why 6 you ask? Because you need to order the part for the short time that it is available. I've collected all the new animals (still missing the elephant head and body) and some Black Falcon knights.

^ Yes right now you can get the Adidas (over $85) and Dickens (over $150) GWP sets along with double points. Spend over $150 and you can get both.

Ah cool. Sadly doesn't seem to be the case in the UK.

The Dickens set is lovely, I'd be all over that.

    This arrived today…

It ended up being the equivalent of around $210 in frequent flyer points, with no tax and free shipping… now I need to go earn some more points in case they start offering other sets!

Went to Mall of America store, got #80024 The Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain and a large PAB cup, also Dickens, Adidas, and Friends poly GWPs. $199.97 total with tax... Woo-hoo! I kept today's LEGO spending under $200! But I'm not home yet...🙄

I intended to make a S@H purchase this week for the x2 VIP event. I had my cart full, but didn't pull the trigger. I went in last night to complete the purchase and two sets were on backorder. Not usually a big deal, but I'll be moving in the next two weeks and there isn't a way to update the shipping address on an order with items that ship immediately and then items that hold on backorder.

Made the decision to drive into my local LEGO Store during a long lunch today. I got the Daisy, Scrooge and H/D/L, Hagrid and kids, and Voledmort/Bellatrix BHZ, along with the Minnie and Mickey brick sketch sets, the Adidas GWP, and a Friends poly bag. They also said there was a "Purchase with Purchase" offer. It was two decks of playing cards done up in LEGO style. usually $17.99, but available with my purchase for $12.99. I ended up passing, but thought it was an interesting bonus item nonetheless.

Checked some more BHz off my list, added some GWP sets to my stash, a couple more brick sketches, and 1500+ VIP points. Not a bad trip!

(They also had 1x2 white tiles on the PAB wall among a few other nice parts. I may end up back there tomorrow to fill a cup or two)

I picked up a #21052 Dubai at target today and got them to match Amazon’s $48 price, plus I got my 5% discount. Very shrewd, I thought to myself. Then I got home and added it to my Brickset collection only to discover I already had it, and I only got a slightly better price this time 🙄. I’ll probably return it on Sunday. I don’t think I like Dubai enough to keep two.

I tried to buy some Vidyo today as it's -40% in the local shop but it's still too much to justify, especially with the random boxes.

^ I suspect they will be available for a long time. No way I would pay full price for these, but for $6 I'll take 'em.
