This is the quote that got me:

"The report states that the direct sequel to The LEGO Movie is being delayed, while the LEGO Batman spinoff will be put on the fast track."

Could be really good. I liked the character in the film but he might get a tad overbearing if he has to hold everything up for 90 minutes by himself. This will also lead to a pretty ridiculous line up of Batman Lego sets too...

If it gets official LEGO sets of the movie Batwing and Batmobile it'll be worth it.

Kinda upset that the sequel is being delayed...cool that they are making a Batman movie though.

As long as this is the opening credits theme, I'm there.

While I can see this working as a straight-to-dvd bit of fun (ala the Star Wars ones) I don't want this over Lego Movie 2.

Sounds like a cash-in or an excuse to shift more Batman-centric DC sets.

I hope LEGO can pull it off after three LEGO Batman video games.
