It's the same as the Simpsons series.
Sorry don't have it in front of me right now.

My Target has them. Won't sell until Oct 1. :-(

Yeah, I tried Target... After getting the box from the back, opening it and scanning a pack (rang up $3.19), the clerk decided not to risk selling before October 1. Too bad!

This happened to me when I was about to pay the Lego Movie CMF last year, a "NO SALE before date..." came up at the register. It was SOOO disappointing since I already spent ages massaging and picking the ones I wanted from the end cap hanging display.
But this time with CMF 12, nothing happened (it was not flagged for a specific sale date) when I paid at the register.

they are reusing the same dpci i.e. replacing simpsons one with series 12? would be interesting to know if they bring back the simpson one and sell for cheaper....

Any further confirmation on $3.19 price at Target vs. $3.99? Thanks,

I called last week and my target wanted $3.49. I'd suggest calling before making a trip. Targets like to jack their prices up in the better areas. Jerks.

^thanks! It will be disappointing if this is how I find out we live in a bad area...

Does anyone know if walmart and walgreens are selling for $3.99?

^ Walmart in my area was 3.97.

@legogregors, a Target employee brought them out for me when I gave him the DPCI. He said I could look through them and pick out 5-10 and then they put them back in the back room (until Oct 1). They were $2.99. I'm guessing the price might be higher on Oct 1?

is there a website to use this code? I don't understand how it helps anyone. Everytime I've tried putting the numbers into a random target mobile search engine, it never comes up with anything. And none of the scanners at my Targets have any numberpads to actually input anything. Not sure how this is helpful??
  • margotmargot Member Posts: 2,308
Yes, you can input the number into the scanners. Also any salesperson can punch it into their computer or scanner.

$2.99 was confirmed at my target, I was pleased with the price but it is now confirmed that I live in a bad area. This evening I had to ask an employee to bring them out and then I spent some time getting the ones I wanted and a few extras.

I had to go to guest services to have them pull the box out of the back yesterday. Ended up doing the quick feel test right at the counter of Guest services, with everyone entering the store walking right past me. Did encourage me to sort them quicker! Got all but one I wanted as I ran out of time on my lunch break. For $2.99 plus redcard discount, well worth it. I hope Target keeps this price and doesn't belatedly realize everyone else is selling them for MSRP and then raise the price.

I'm at Target now trying to get them and the scanner says they are in stock. So I asked a sales person and they are going in the back and can't find them. All minifig at Target carry the same dpci code . They have literally brought me up everything from series 9 and up but after 45 min of looking no series 12. On to the next Target.

I asked the employees at my Target and they told me that they will probably not going to be stocking the collectible minifigures this time. :( To make matters worse, I went to TRU and asked them and they did not know when or if they would get the new series. I guess I'll just have to make the 30 minute trek to my nearest LEGO Store.

Went to Target tonight, customer service said they had 320 in stock. Clerk went to stock room and came back and said he couldn't sell them until tomorrow.
  • RonyarRonyar Member Posts: 373
Target must be having issues with their stock room and the minifigures. Took a good 10 minutes and a person from guest services going to the back to find them when I went in. Maybe they should use different numbers for each series? Seems they are getting themselves confused!

At least your store found them. Mine went to the back, and 10 mins later said they couldn't find them and it was mia. awesome

^ That is what the stock room person at mine kept saying, which is why the person from Guest Services went back to help.

Ok....finally found a Target that had them. Sure enough they ring up at $2.99. They don't carry the 60 count boxes only the 120 count boxes.
