    There are a lot more pictures on Bricklink. Just do a search on 2012 Dealers Catalog. (c;

They certainly are confidential so you're right not to link to them here.

The star wars hoth game looks fun/cute. Star Wars microfigs! And looks like the plan is to release a whole load of figure+micro sets in those planet thingys.

I can't find pictures of the Hoth game or new city sets? The links on smashing bricks and other sites have been deleted since this morning! Someone email me?

Does anybody know what some of the larger sets are that are coming in 2012?

I even found the 2012 City, Friends, Dino, and Creator just by searching "2012" on Brickshelf. Lego is getting lazy.

I'm quite happy about the images of the new Starwars. I mean, if they're going to make the minifigs the only redeeming quality at least have a lot more cheap-range sets.

I think I will need to have all of those City vehicles on pages 14-15!

A very random bear in a very tacky police jail.

I have all the recent 2012 set images in a zip file, I am happy to send to anyone via email, including City, Star Wars, Ninjago, Friends, Dino, ;)
  • andheandhe Member Posts: 3,913
@jonboy2000 remember these are PRELIMEN.. PRELIMANER... UNFINISHED photos. Figs, moulds and stuff is still to be completed and most likely in prototype stages (eg the bear, which lives in the forest so not exactly random?).

I am not that much of a fan with regards to Lego boxes, but I do think that the design and colour contrast for the new 2012 Star Wars sets seemed a bit weird. Black vs white? It might all be preliminary anyway.

As far as new sets go, City is one of the few 2012 themes that have met my expectations. Seeing the bear in the new police station set was certainly exciting for me. If you glance over to the next page (of the catalouge) you'll see even a cutely designed bee hive for set number 4441. The bear's flexibility seems quite well defined (despite being prelim) and the Police Station appears quite unique. The building does remind me of some checkpoint one might drive through (or up to) in a Canadian National Park.

If anyone missed the NinjaGo pics you can find plenty by just search the net. I personally just went to Flickr and searched "NinjaGo 2012". Even using the basic Google Images got me somewhere.

Ninjago is now very Power Rangers-y.

Star Wars looks cool. If Queen Amidala was in there I sure didn't see it.

I found the entire catelog (Except for general regular superheroes page :( ):

I don't know why the new Ninjago packaging has a green ninja, I can't spot one in the photos.

LEGO is lazy to use Atlantis Manta Ray helmets for the Serpent Beasts.

Dino Attack was one of my favorite themes, nice to see them coming back (And with some Pterodactyls too!) . Just hope that those are the official colors, they make the dinosaurs look more like dinosaurs.

The bear brick is very weird to see in a POLICE STATION.

I just want there to be a Johnny Thunder 2014 (10 year anniversary of Orient Expedition), and my collection will be complete.

Ok let's ignore that the title is Star Wars themed but @AScaryOctopus, I don't see why a bear is weird? It's a forest based police/ranger station/theme, and bears live in the woods so is a welcome addition to the lego menagerie in my books.

I'd imagine that the green ninjago ninja will appear in a large second wave set later in the year after the comics/cartoons etc have had time to hype him/her up (bit like the green ranger in power rangers... remember him!! Amazing).

I don't think the snakemen are wearing the manta ray headpiece, as far as I can tell.

Ever since I’ve heard about the Green Ninja rumour I’ve been wondering how he’ll make his appearance. I’m assuming it’ll be a guy, not Nyaa, because of the eyes (from the page art). The Green Ninja certainly has a lot of costumes to catch up on!

I’m not nearly as excited about the 3rd wave as I was about the 2nd… but seeing three dragons for NinjaGo’s second run was pretty surprising. I don’t recall being that excited for any other set(s). Unfortunately there are no dragons in the 3rd wave! Silly me, I was hoping for a Lord Garmadon Dragon and/or Skeleton Dragon! Well for second place I’m actually really eager to see how they did the ship. Looking at the Sails/Wings feature has me intrigued.

My original goal from the start was to simply buy all the Ninja outfits (from sets!) and then purchase the dragons. This 3rd wave might complicate things… so in other words forcing me to buy sets for the figures (Appalling!!!).

@andhe THANKS VERY MUCH FOR THE INFORMATION. You seem to be getting a bit uptight About the bear situation. I very much doubt they would issue a dealer catalog to every lego supplier with prototype images!

I know, I was just saying that in hopes LEGO put it in a smaller set instead of that one so I could potentially get it.

And you're right, the snake me aren't wearing a manta ray head piece. I thought it was one but then I took a closer look and they don't have the pincers like the manta ray does.

Still, Orient Expedition Anniversary 2014. Sound good to anyone else? With updated character appearances to match the high quality ones we have today and of course the board game and that beautiful dragon.

That's pretty much what they do, hence the plain torsos and rough edges on new moulds such as the bear...

Would be nice to see the bear in a smaller set but seems to be the TLG marketing policy to put new parts in the more expensive sets.

The Star Wars stuff looks awesome especially the tie fighter and battle packs.
The Dino theme looks great although I will probably only buy two or three of the small/medium sets.
Ninjago is not really my thing.
City looks great much better than this years line up.
Technic and creator are very much usual.

    another rehash ...
why have lego gone to effort of making a swoop bike (or something) for the droid escape set when it was not in the scene, yet lego have the mould for a dewback which is in the movie and has not been seen since 2004. if your going to do a set again surely the idea is to improve on it? as the set is bound to be around the £25 mark it should include some incentive for collector missed opportunity lego
sorry about the rant had to let it out

Well, from what I have seen, I am not as universally excited as everybody else on the latest Star Wars sets, although I agree that generally over time, the detail and accuracy is improving.

On the face of it, we have a remake of Droid escape, another X-Wing, and another Tie-Fighter, which I think is around the ninth or tenth version. I would much rather see some brand new scenes, or areas where a remake is really needed, Jabba's Palace?, Mos Eisley!! Also, where are 4-Lom and Zuckuss? That would definitely excite me!

I am far more excited at some of the other stuff, and cannot wait until we get some images of the exclusives.

Though I missed all the sets due to be released on there original runs as I am sure others did, and even though I will be buying eveyr one, I do think that new sets are needed and jabba and mos eisley are certianly two areas the need to be visited or revisited. I don't understand the logic behind the propsosed sets other than the battlepacks. If they wanted to keep revisiting a vechile then the at-st is the one to do as in my opinion they have never got that right not least due to it only ever having space for one driver! What I don't get is that the films are rich in detail including scences, locations, set-pieces and most crucially ships there must be somethings still to draw on however minor but I suppose it's down to what will sell to children and not so much afol's.

These new sets look so good! Now all that is needed is a new Cloud City for the 2nd half of 2012, and I'm a VERY happy Lego Star Wars fan.

The Xwing fighter looks a vast improovement from the last one eventhough they are remaking it again.

The Tie fighter looks simply amazing especially the figs.

The Droid escape is a set I really want as I missed it out when it was first released.

The Battle packs look as good as allways. Those planet sets look really interesting and I will probably get them.

I expect the prices for the 2012 first wave will be around

    Planets $9.99 £8.99-£10.49
    Battle packs £12.99 £10.49-£13.99
    Droid escape $19.99 £21.99
    Geonosian Cannon $19.99 £21.99
    Tie fighter $49.99 £40.99
    X wing fighter $59.99 £49.99
