i finished building mine today, no missing parts the only thing i felt disappointed in was the variance in the blue bricks used on the right hand wall above the barber shop, there was the light blue and darker blue, and in my set there seemed to be a noticeable difference in the shade of the darker blue depending on the size pieces the 1x 4 seemed darker to the 1 x 3

Has anyone messed around with the name "AL" and spelling something different?

    Nope. Why would I?
    Yours sincerely,
    Alan. :P

I have however edited and changed some numbers round in the dates on the Fire Station and Town Hall, with not all that much effort I got 1981 and 1983, my wife's and my birth year! (Sorry if I've mentioned that before and bored anyone!)

I built mine last weekend. No missing parts at all. Can't even say I noticed any colour difference in the blue either.

Has anyone replaced the "cookie". Scheme with something else yet? I'd be running breaking bad scheme myself....I have plenty of those $100 bills.

Its just a darn shame that these are such big pieces otherwise you could do a top floor "green house".

You could always have them smuggling something else (money, drugs, stolen jewels, or what-have-you) INSIDE the cookies...

The Albatross Prison level of LEGO City Undercover had a whole running gag about one prisoner who used baked goods to smuggle things into the prison, up to and including cars and hot tubs!

I'm finally getting around to building this, this weekend. I have built all newer modulars but I never really paid attention to how long they take to build. About how long does the DA take?

Even after 8 months the poor guy can't get an answer.

    I'll say 3-4 hours.

I hope he's finished the model by now if he started on the weekend of March 8th. :P
