Lego Space - Building The Future - Book

WoW!! I thought Peter Reid did a great job on the Exo Suit, but having purchase his book Lego Space - Building the Future with Tim Goddard, I am overwhelmed with their creativity and imagination. The book is well thought out and written as if we are being taken to another time by their limitless imagination creating Lego based scenes and characters. The book includes building instructions for some of the ships, drones and robots they created with excellent building technics which I personally prefer over the use of the all the plates we commonly see from TLG.

This is a must have for all Lego fans. There is so much here that TLG can use: kids would love a Lego Space cartoon and these guys have laid the foundation for it...

Thanks for the review. I've had the book on my wish list for several months, and now that the Exo Suit has joined the family, maybe it's time to buy a copy.

I had nothing but praise for it when I reviewed it last year: http://brickset.com/article/8535/lego-space-building-the-future

I wholeheartedly agree - I loved it too. My review's here if you need a second opinion.

A doctor's second opinion! (and not just the old chestnut 'you're ugly, too!'). Well, we can't ask for much better than that... or can we...?

@drdavewatford @huw excellent, excellent reviews. Clearly connoisseurs, both. Soooo.... *browses the brickset menu* ...is there a particular wine or aperitif you would especially recommend to accompany the visual feast?

*wonders to self* (Hmm... what goes with light grey and space...)

@Huw, guess I did not go back far enough to see what you had written when I was looking for reviews on the book. Glad to have bought the topic up for others that also may have missed it. @DrDavewatford thanks for adding your link too.
