Questions about LEGO USS Constellation

Since I live near Baltimore where the real USS Constellation is, I thought it would be neat to get the LEGO version. I did have a couple questions though:

1. Is this model the 1854 version or the 1797 version? I have found conflicting information on whether the model is of the 1854 ship (which is the one in Baltimore) or the original 1797 one. It looks like the 1854 one to me, but I know next to nothing about ships. EDIT: The manual for #10021-1 says it's the 1797 one, and I must have missed it the first time :-)

2. What are the differences between the original #398-1 set and the reissued #10021-1 sets? I know the #398 has the yellow window 1x1x1 classic with short sill and the #10021 replaced them with the yellow angular brick 1x1, but are there any other differences between the two sets?
