I saw the LEGO Movie and it reminded me of some of the best times of my life. Playing with my yellow LEGO castle. I ran the idea of converting the spare bedroom into a Grand LEGO-Torium and the wife agreed. That bit done, I am now looking to rebuild my yellow castle.

Anyways, aside from that, I'm near 40 and I am about to buy my first LEGO set in thirty years tonight. It's kind of awesome!

The Yellow Castle is one of my personal favorites, you can't beat those classic LEGO castle minifigures.

You may very well be embarking on a long and exciting journey back into Lego. Best of luck in choosing your first set coming out of the Dark Ages. I'm sure it will be a memorable and glorious occasion to remember.

Thank you for the welcome! It's really funny that the Benny character from the LEGO movie is really the guy who brought me back, I remember having the starfighter with the blue spaceman and sooo many good times with him.

I may buy the spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! tomorrow... Hmmm ;D

Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! is a great set. One of my fav movie sets. Only downside is that its huge. I had to take down three other sets to make room to display it. Won't be a problem for you by the sounds of it though.

If you can afford to do up a room for Lego, you can surely afford a UCS Millenium Falcon 10179. Common you know you want one.

I do want a Millenium Falcon, but I think the wife would get a tad annoyed if I spent all of this years vacation money on LEGO! The dog house just doesn't have nearly as much room in it as our house does.
