Making Lego name tags

NatebwNatebw Member Posts: 339
I want a Lego name tag for person use. (I'm not in a LUG). I did a bit of research, but didn't see an official product, so I assume these are MOCs.

How did you make yours?

Do you mean something like these? People tend to get a brick engraved with their name from one of the many vendors and then customise it with printed bricks from events and giveaways.

I guess engraved would look great. I was more thinking about how to attach them to my shirt: glue to a pre-existing magnet or pin nametag, or some other strategy. It would be great of Lego sold a set for this, like they do business card holders.

Looks like Brickprinter is the way to go. Thanks!

Some vendors of engraved bricks supply a safety pin with a self adhesive backing, you can probably get one for next to nothing from a craft shop:

These types are much more useful I find, no pin involved. One piece has double-sided tape which sticks to the brick (actually one brick and one plate I have found.)
