This morning I was in my local Lego B&M (Costa Mesa, CA), and the following sets were discounted 20% through the weekend. The ones with asteriks are set to retire, according to the store staff.
Ninjago
70720
70724
70726

Creator
31019

Lord of the Rings*
79008

Hobbit*
79014
79011

Architecture
21017
21018* - PLUS double VIP points earned
United Nations is a super buy here!
(The Leaning Tower of Pisa & Big Ben are also double VIP points.)

Various Chima sets were also discounted 20%, but I didn't look at those -- sorry!

Peter's Exo Suit and the Research Lab were plentiful, if anyone living locally is looking to buy them in-store.

Hi. Was in Rockefeller NYC AND Danbury CT TODAY and the sets have been on since yesterday. Also saw Jabba's sale barge, some juniors and the Hulk set at 20%

#76016 Spider Helicopter Rescue was also on 20% off. I picked up the UN set but I don't believe it was double VIP points.

Oh and they had restocked Architecture Studio with a new price of $159.99. Might be worthwhile to look for if you missed out on the first go round

While 20% isn't a great discount, this new "weekend sale" strategy LBR is using is a step in the right direction.

As red237 wrote, the weekend sales begin each Thursday, but judging from the responses in this thread, it seems the offers vary from state to state, or perhaps even store to store.
