A big Hello

Hi there, been lurking around for some time now on Brickset, so thought I best introduce myself.

My name is Craig and I'm 38 years old with two children 5 and almost 1.

Lego was my main toy as a child, and even though I have not bought much between leaving home and now having children, I am sure making up for it now.

I got back into Lego really when my son started showing interest in Lego last year. Got all my old boxes of Lego down from the loft and started building with him.

From there I have rekindled my childhood and am now building and buying sets. I have also just started to look at designing MOC'S, mainly to do with my project of trying to fit a nice looking playable City into a small space.

Huge fan of the Modulars, but also a bit of everything with under-bed storage now full of super heroes, Chima. Ninjago and Star Wars. Started a blog about my Lego experience combining it with my city project.

I am still amazed at the AFOL community and how great it is. Missed out on going to my first Brick event at the Mining Museum in Wakefield due to a Life threatening illness. So looking forward to going to YorBrick this coming weekend.

So a little bit about me and a brief hint to how Lego has helped with my recovery, which is what my Blog is going to be about.

Hoping to be more active in the community and getting to know some more folks on here.

Thanks for reading, Craig.
