Who can make a collector really happy by getting the special SDCC Uni Kitty?

neonzebraneonzebra Member Posts: 10
I collect all Uni Kitty's and was wondering who is going to SDCC and get get me the special Two-faces Uni-Kitty.

You will make me eternally grateful! I live in Holland, so there is no way I can visit the SDCC.

Plenty available on ebay but you'll need to dig deep in the wallet!

They are not exactly free, though.

Single-day badges for adults cost $35 for Preview Night, $45 for Thursday-Saturday badges and $30 for Sunday. The cost of attending all four days and Preview Night is $200. Contrary to popular belief; not all of the United States estimated 320 million people live in the city of San Diego (a slight hint of sarcasm), so one must pay for transportation costs, food and lodging. Definitely NOT free. Also, badges sell out very quickly, so you aren't even guaranteed that you can even go to the event. Once inside, you might not even get a chance to grab every single exclusive that Lego is handing out for "free".

If I collected Uni Kitty's I would use ^this as an excuse to buy one for $150 or less on eBay shipped. On another thread, someone posted that there were 1,750 of each exclusive minifigure.

Well, still you get to attend the CC, so it is not exactly fair to state that you have to pay all mentioned expenses just to get an exclusive fig. You also get to attend the CC and all other cool stuff...

How about the 3 hour wait in line for the CHANCE to get a figure? Where time is money that has to count for something?

You can say that about anywhere someone travels to. I would have to drive 2,346 miles or 3,776 km to get to San Diego. If I did go to CC, it would be mostly because of the Lego.

I may be in the minority, but I think it takes a lot of gall to ask someone in this forum to send you a "free" Comic Con Exclusive.

@neonzebra‌ - I can see where you are coming from. They gave away a lot of stuff free like comic books and posters. Those things people may be willing to give for little to no cost. They were easily attainable. The Lego minifigures were far from a handout and they are pretty cool as you want one yourself. So supply, demand and the amount of effort will never make these exclusive something that anyone would be willing to part for without some form of compensation. If you are interested I am selling Unikitty in another discussion at a fair price to a random Bricksetter.

Anyway can you pick a number between 1-13? Thanks.

Hold on a second: I NEVER said I want a free fig. I asked if someone could get me one. Of course I pay for it!
