My son wants to create a MOC and we need a range of explorer style minifigures and or parts. I think we've decided on yellow skin so I'm after...

I dont need all of those, and might want more than one of some. I've got a big pile of CMF (some opened, some opened jsut to check and some sealed), Star wars and LOTR minfigures as well as various polybags etc that I would rather trade with than pay, although eventually I'll pay if necessary.

The caveman/gorilla suit guy is for an 'ape man'. Neither are really right, and I've considered using a chima gorilla, but the torsos are too elaborate. Any other ideas?

You could use G'Loona (Chima) head with the print wiped off one side, along with either a plain dark brown torso and legs, or maybe the Minotaur's torso (although that is reddish brown).

I've got one (new) Major Quinton Steele and a used Charles Lightening (http://brickset.com/minifigs/adv040/Dr-Charles-Lightning-with-Backpack) if you want to consider using him too. The latter's arms are scratched and could do with replacing though.



I haven't got any of these spare, but you might also want to consider dino005. He has a tan fedora and a leather style waistcoat. And his legs are quite adventurer looking too.
