Hi, sort of lego related...I was just wondering if anyone has invested in shares for TLG?

As I understand it, the company does issue 'shares' to senior staff, as part of their pay package (i.e. they get a dividend paid on their 'shares' based on how well the company is doing), but they aren't (can't be meaningfully) traded on the open share market.

Those senior staff will no doubt be very happy with their dividends over the past couple of years!

Probably a good thing that they are privately owned. Allows for more artistic control. No Shareholder pressure to pump out only the high margin sets, which might not necessarilly be what people on these forums like!
