Dear Kevin
On behalf of the Play Service at the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, thank you very much for the fantastic donation of LEGO, you kindly donated to the hospital via Jonathan Richmond last week.
The selection of Lego sets are great and are suitable for a variety of ages from 3 up to 12 years, for boys and girls there was also some lovely Lego Star Wars books and the Hobbit Lego games, the selection was just super. All are very much appreciated and I know the children will love playing and have fun building the models.
We will be using some within the wards and the children who got there photograph taken with the Lego donation got to chose a set each. The rest we have kept for using with long term patients, for children's birthdays, and at Christmas.
Once again a big thank you to yourself and every one involved with Fairy Bricks.
Yours sincerely
Maureen
I love to see the children with a set in their hands and a big smile on their faces. It's heartwarming really.
Just finished dropping off $1460 CAD worth of Lego at Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Canada.
Thank you Fairy Bricks!
Billy
I firstly would like to thank @mrbradford for covering for me today and making the drop as we had difficulty getting scheduled with the hospital and because of a mistake on my part I was unfortunately unable to attend. I also want to thank those from DFWLUG who did a Lego display for the kids at the hosptial this morning as well.
Finally, I want to thank @SirKevbags for allowing me to head up a donation this year. After my four year old son had an emergency appendectomy while out of town I found a much deeper appreciation for this charity. Lego was a wonderful distraction for my boy while laid up in a hospital bed for several days post surgery and provided him with a lot of smiles and something to think about besides pain. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide many more kids with that same joy. Here is a quick picture of the Lego that was donated:

Sorry for the delay in posting this, but back in April I dropped of a Lego donation to The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne Australia.$1501.47 AUD worth of Lego was delivered.

Educational Play Therapy & Music Therapy at the RCH.
I should also have said a big thank you to the Brickset community (All of you), as well as Fairybricks and @SirKevbags. With out everyone's support these donations would not be possible.
And lastly I still have another donation to deliver, hopefully it will happen next week.
And, yes, there's a town in Austria called "F*cking" too!
Best leave it at Wagga Wagga.
Actually, if I'm contemplating making a crude joke, can I just blatantly blame it on Legomatt in direct contradiction to all reality and get away with it?
Now i know how Kenneth Williams felt... one knob joke it's all you get remembered for.
Oo-ooh-ooh-ohh *shrill nasal howl* But I'm so much more...
