Good night, friends. Can't wait to see pics of the booty this raffle will buy, and of the faces of the happy kids who'll receive that largesse!
For now I'm enjoying this rather mellow dram which as they claim does have dark chocolate undertones. Yorbrix at the weekend so if you're there be sure to say hello, I'll be the one flogging tickets and ripping apart mosaic plates at lightening speed!
It can't be lost that Fairy Bricks can't exist without this forum. Be it funding or sourcing sets it is all driven from here. It was only created after the success of last year and you all continue to offer incredible support.
Night night, all.
*falls asleep instantly*
;-P
(there's a chance I've completely misunderstood this - if I have, I'm sorry)
PervertedGreat minds think alike! :oDWonder how many flumps (sweets) I can trade a brick seperator for?
@margot again Clutch powers does beat tea bags because his motto is We build on each other! I think that's quite fitting for our community, the raffle and all these great causes that are going to benefit, over £7K folks. I can't be sorry about anything I won or didn't win when that's the outcome.
I'm proud to be a tiny wee brick in this big hearted community.
Anyway, after three and a bit hours sitting in the kids ward waiting area / play room, I can say with experience that they really need a donation. Shame about the impeccable timing son, you could have waited a few more days. It's funny now we're home.
Raises glass to @Sirkevbags and says, You started the ball rolling and look how far things have come. Damn fine work Sir!
Until tomorrow, (after sleep) thank you and goodnight.
(Sorry mods for 2 posts in a row, normal service will resume shortly!)
ps If anyone has a Lego movie sticker for palace cinema there's an opening in the window of the set I already own. I have some items to trade and not the ones you think!
This was the first time I heard about Fairy Bricks - Thanks to everyone that made this raffle happen, great idea with a great cause in mind! I'll definitely be far more active in supporting Fairy Bricks whenever I can!
Wow, so he helped design the Exo-Suit, and this set http://brickset.com/sets/5974-1/Galactic-Enforcer ? <---- If this spaceship is anything like this one, just I'm so excited. The exo-suit is already on my buy list and now I'm going to have an exclusive spaceship to go with it. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!
Don't click if you want to keep it a surprise.
Lucky you :o)
Quick plug for anyone that still doesn't know about it - http://fairybricks.org/
So many hospitals done, yet so many to do. It's great how many others this raffle will help out.
I was deeply asleep at that time last night...I had the early shift this morning...
So I could not swap, even though, I would have been tempted with this...never tried double decker chocolate bar! LOL
First time in my life I win something in a draw!
Thanks @SirKevbags and all participants. This is for a great cause!
Oooh, but isn't CheshireCat disqualified from all raffle-prize-related activities?
I should win by default! (I'll take anything at this point).
