Oh man, I can't wait that long! Thanks for the info though!

Look on bricklink and amazon. If you don't mind paying way higher than retail prices you can get them from overseas vendors. I'm impatient as hell too. But I can make in another month and a half.

Yeah, the prices on ebay are crazy, I will just indulge my addiction with some "vintage" sets I guess!

I have the AT-AT. It is small like everyone says but I personally am happy with it. I can't wait to get the star destroyer and cantina. Looking forward to a new greedo.

My local toy store doesn't have them out yet. I really want the two Rebels sets, I like that they connect to each other.

Just saw this display today at local TRU, WOW that #75055 is small Still like the Older version #6211 better over all but the cannons lined up on the side is nice on the new set.

Local Targets had removed last year's SW display guessing to make room for this years version.

I saw the new display at my local Target a few days ago. It's got #75054 AT-AT sort of "kneeling" in mid-fall while #75049 Snowspeeder flies around it.

I'm in the middle of building Mos Eisley. It's a fun little set. Minifigs are great - the Luke details area not nearly as strange in person, the Biths are great, always great to have another Sandtrooper, and the Dewback is fun. Comes with both a saddle and a "back."

The set does feel "small" but there's a reasonable amount of building because many of the pieces are small. I would have preferred that they skip the Dewback and the moisture vaporator (which is one bag in itself) and give us another room for the Cantina, but that is just me.

I got it on discount via Amazon which is the only reason I picked it up so early. I've learned that the Star Wars set almost always get a substantial discount, so best to wait. Will probably wait for the Snowspeeder. Will likely pass on both the ISD and AT-AT; I picked up the motorized AT-AT two years ago and it was a delight, and I have a used old ISD that I still haven't built.

Agreed. I have managed to avoid SW up until this point, but the summer wave finally caused me to break.

After seeing the reviews of various summer sets: I like the new Stormtroopers and Snowtroopers seems like TLG has made a effort to add more detail and printed elements.

Also think that all the great customs out there could be pushing TLG to better figures.

I finished the Cantina 2 nights ago. I love the set. The Biths are great, but I need 4 more to complete the band. I also need Lirin Car'n and Barquin D'an (Max Rebo Band).

Does anyone know when Barnes & Noble will be getting the Summer Star Wars sets?
I ask because I have a lot of B&N gift cards burning a hole in my pocket.
  • MathiasMathias Member Posts: 94
^i was in Barnes and nobles just yesterday and they didn't have anything. In fact their lego selection was quite small compared to what it has been.

As for the SW summer sets. Only ones I don't have are the B wings, ISD and the cantina. So far I've been pretty happy with them all. I think the ghost has been my favorite. Fun build and it felt hefty and worth the price.

We may get the official information the 18th august - LEGO is releasing an exclusive set for VIP members, which is not yet know. If we are lucky, this might be the 75060.
