Comic con is next week. LEGO is listed as an exhibitor but I don't know any other details.

i heard from a reliable source that the Lego panel will be held on Thurs Oct 9 which has been confirmed here:

I still think that if the big announcement of a new theme is Bionicle then TLG completely screwed up by doing an official announcement on facebook. Would be bad enough calling it a new theme when its a reboot but to have already announced it as well.
I'm holding out hope for either something thats not been kept very quiet or at an outside shot Jurassic World.

Yes, it's invitation-only. A lot of LEGO fansites including BZPower, Eurobricks, Brickset, and The Brothers Brick were all given invitations by the LEGO Group to distribute via raffle. These invitations included both Comic-Con badges (valid Thursday only) and invitations to the LEGO special event at 1pm.

I was lucky enough to be one of the raffle winners on Eurobricks, so my twin brother and I will both be attending the LEGO special event! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and report back to the various LEGO communities I'm a part of.

I'm not sure what else LEGO might be doing at NYCC. Exclusive sets or minifigures could be cool, but since I'd just be there for one day I'd be hesitant to spend a whole lot of that time waiting in line unless I can't find anything better to do. And there are only a few themes I'd be personally interested in exclusive figs from anyway (Ninjago and The LEGO Movie, mostly).

I hope they have copies of the Justice League comic that they gave away at SDCC and also with certain copies of the Tumbler! I've loved following along with it in the LEGO Club Magazine and the LEGO Club website, and it'd be great to have the whole story as one collected volume. :)

i attended the Lego Batman 3 panel on saturday and everyone received a Lego Batman 3 t-shirt and poster. i was almost positive that the plasticman poly would be the giveaway/raffle but it turned out to be the Lego Tumbler set which was pretty awesome. strange enough, i spoke to my friend yesterday at the flatiron event and he mentioned there was a giveaway at the Lego Batman 3/TT Games booth that i was not aware of. yes, it was the plasticman poly. so, it was nice to hear another vendor managed to satisfy their fans.
