Lego Star Wars storm troopers.

Hi, I bought a Death Star, cloud city and other big sets that I want to fill with imperial storm troopers. I was also going to make a Tatooine moc. They are so expensive. Does anyone know where there is a lot for like $2-$4/5 each? Maybe a craigslist posting? Or is anyone willing to sell them. I like the, older, with the smaller mouth. But anything is good. Please let me know. Thanks.

It is tough to get cheap stormtroopers as everyone wants armies of them, so any cheap ones get bought up quickly.

If $4-5 is your limit price, then you will almost certainly need to be buying used ones.

But where? Like craigslist. Ebay is way to much for mini figs. I just buy sets from ebay.

Yes, bricklink is probably your best bet. Although very few sellers have them in quantity at under $5, even for used. And by the time you've added on postage costs they are going to be costing you $7 or so each.

This list can sorted by quantity for sale - just change the "sort by" tab. You'll pay a premium for a large lot, but with the bonus of it being quick and just one postage cost.

Hoth battle gear stormtroopers (or plain old snowtroopers) are significantly cheaper if you are into Hoth storylines.

FWIW, if you have the money to afford Cloud City and the Death Star, you can probably afford to pick up a few Stormies.

Another idea is to look for relatively cheap copies of the Imperial Dropship. Sometimes people selling them don't realize just how valuable the stormtroopers are. And keep collecting OT lego. Before you know it you'll end up with quite a few just through natural addition.

Finally, for your Tatooine MOC, look for copies of the Droid Escape set - you could (and probably want to use) the Sandtroopers. I think Droid Escape is still for sale. And you can sell off 3PO and R2 to offset the costs.

One is a 2009 version and the others are 2012 versions. They are all assembled but have never been played with.

No, the helmet is the same as the 2012 version, it just has a different torso and a black head.
