Are You Missing A Kingdoms Joust?

SirKevbagsSirKevbags Member Posts: 4,027
I have a #10223 Kingdoms Joust here and I know it isn't mine because I don't collect the theme. I don't recall buying it but it didn't get in the house by itself!

If it's yours can you please let me know!

It is totally mine. I left it in the UK by accident. I am so glad you found it! ;)

I would like very much to say that it is mine, but explaining how it got to the UK from Canada may be a bit difficult...

#10223 is very shifty set. As depicted on the box it wants to merge. So dodgy those Kingdoms Jousts always conniving how to pair with another one. I have one here that is dying to be mirrored with a neighbouring Kingdom. Sure some heads will have to roll. The king is dead. Long live the King! business as usual. SirKevbags, so courteous of you to announce a lost detachment set off to Britannia want to return to the continent, the bosom, the heart for which it is yearning. Pick it up, lay your ear to listen, and hear its pulse, it longs to be united with a lonely yet steadfast counterpart here in Amsterdam. Just send it of to us, that is the royal 'we' we are referring to, the editorial 'we' if you like.

His eminence, his Dudeness, his Grace, The Great Legoski will be pleased to receive #10223 the more subjects will swear fealty to his Over Lordship the merrier.

I think it was something like the Double Dutch version of Old English...

I'm sure the rightful owner will see this and it will trigger their memory which in turn will likely trigger mine. Hopefully!

It wasn't a Fairy Bricks donation sent to you?
  • SirKevbagsSirKevbags Member Posts: 4,027
@Jenni‌ definitely not. They are kept completely separate when they arrive.

@Jenni‌ definitely not. They are kept completely separate when they arrive.

Maybe the person donating it just didn't let you know and/or their message is in your spam folder ?

I'm really not accusing you of stealing Fairy Bricks' LEGO. You don't know where it came from now and you may never have known depending on the method of donation.

Oh I didn't think you were suggesting foul play @Jenni‌

Is it wrong that I am now picturing Kev surrounded by chickens?!
I know technically that would have been 'fowl play' but still the image refuses to budge from my funny little mind ;-)

Mystery solved. It belongs to @augen‌ and I picked it on AFOL day last year for collection at STEAM but he couldn't make it. We have had a "chuck"le at least.
