Hi all - new joiner and first time poster here, so hopefully I get everything right :)

I wanted to show people my Lego tunnel project (Old Hill Tunnel) that launched this week on Lego ideas, and I would love to get support for - as many of you will know Lego has never launched a standalone train tunnel set (except in Duplo with set 2938) and I would love to see a tunnel in the range.

I am considering a few further improvements if I get over the 100 / 1000 threshold, including more foliage, ‘woodier’ beams and some wildlife (I am leaning snake rather than the usual cave-dwelling spider!) Also considering adding a working rockslide and/or an abandoned carriage to accentuate the ‘wilderness’ feel.

Hope people like this, and really grateful for everyone who has chosen to support so far. Am trying to make it the best I can.

@BananaBrick01 I think it's a decent idea but would suggest you work a bit more on the execution, the tops of the tunnels seems rather bland and unappealing. Look forward to seeing updates on what you do with this next.

Someone else has already got the train from that movie to 10K and it didn't pass review. This one doesn't really look any better. It would be poor form for LEGO to approve it now without reconsidering the original submission that got to 10K.

Hello and happy new year,

I am fairly new to MOCing although I have been building and collecting Lego for years. I work in aviation so I am naturally inclined to design aircraft models. My first big project is a 1/60 scale replica of the Global 7500 jet, complete with full micro-scale interior and moveable control surfaces. It is very close in scale to the new Lego Space Shuttle. Not my idea but I just love this Castle set and hope it can get some support from the people here. It is a more simple set alot like early Castle sets. With a lower piece count it would be more affordable than many of the Castle Ideas entries that are beautiful but being so highly detailed really run the cost up. Lego Legends isn't coming back so this would allow so many AFOL's to buy the type of original Castle set that is too expensive to buy off eBay. Using current parts this set would be great in multiples for a parts pac to design your own castles.

Nice enough, but I don’t see the rock that this castle is supposedly in.

It looks rather boring to me. A square Castle on a square base with a high panel count for the walls. Give a kid a pile of grey bricks and wall panels and a baseplate and tell them to build a castle and that is pretty much what most will come up with. It is not that different to the King's Castle sets they did a decade or so ago.

A return to the golden years of Castle. #6073 Knights Castle was 1984, #6074 Black Falcons Castle was 1986, #6080 Kings Castle was 1984. Getting a refresh of these type castle sets in my opinion would be great. Just different ideas on boring, which is true of many things.

I cannot see LEGO paying a third party to design something that they already did a decade before.

So, as many of you know, I built Casey Jr. as an IDEAS project about 2 years ago. He got to 1000, then ran out of steam. I resubmitted him in December. Here's what's changed. He's better proportioned, he now has an accurate smokestack, runs better, and can use his cylinders as arms, so he's more animated. The tram is a traditional form of public transport, characteristic of the city of Lisbon. Painted in yellow, it carries the history of a charming city full of adventurers and explorers. Although I'm new to Brickset, I'm rediscovering a lot of old friends here.
First of all, I wish you all the best of luck with your projects.

I'd also like to present my idea. It's about Willow fantasy classic
from 1988 - one of my favorite childhood movies.

The motivation is already described quite well one ideas:

"[...]grown up under the reign of LEGO Knights and Pirates and excited about fantasy and historical movies of the 80s and 90s,[...] to create a model, with which today's kid's can grow up like I did. Equally, yesterday’s kids (like me) can tap into the memory of their childhood for nostalgic and magical moments. [...] it was important that both, today's and yesterday's children can find excitement for the set. It should unite playability and the passionfor collecting and displaying."

I would appreciate if you could support and share it.

Hello all, I've created a LEGO Mechagodzilla "Kiryu" from the 2002 film 'Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla'. Kiryu can be found here: https://ideas.lego.com/content/project/link/cc42b44b-1688-46eb-9e58-3fcb5b995036

Kiryu stands at just over 8" tall (about 21cm) and has articulation rivaling action figures.

Why do some figures and the build levitate but the two figures on the right remain on the ground?

Having done digital builds before, he probably modified the two figures on the right somehow and moved them "lower" than everything else, making everything but the two figures he modified "levitate."

Built a model of a hand with a working pulley system. Initially made it for the STEM contest but it sadly wasn't one of the picked models. I made some refinements so that it has much smoother movement and submitted it as it's own idea.

I also wish every LEGO fan and AFOL a happy 90 years of play and let's hope for many more great years to come.

In the middle of the roof is a handle where you can easily lift the roof and view the details underneath.

The office is the place where Ole Kirk came up with his ideas. In the office there are construction drawings of the house and of the wooden toys like the duck and a bus. The room contains several details such as an old-fashioned phone on the wall and a typewriter on the desk and many more small details to discover.

the living room is the please where Ole Kirk can quietly drink a cup of tea while his grandson Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen builds a LEGO rocket with the new prototype parts in the year 1958. There is also a seating area in the living room.

the store was the place where Ole Kirk sold his wooden toys like a number of iconic like the fire truck a blue car - truck - locomotive - plane and the wooden duck naturally. I also added an easter egg that refers to the Wooden Minifigure from 2019.

I've also made a minifigure stand for Ole Kirk and his son and grandson.

There is also a small pick up truck to discover.
