Hi guys. I recently entered the LEGO IDEAS contest "Do You Want To Go To The Seaside". I've been lucky enough to have my entry selected as one of the finalists and it's now down to a fan vote to decide the winner. If mine wins it will be released as a GWP set.

The model is called "Seaside Memories" and is inspired by my childhood holidays at the Seaside. Hope you like it enough to consider giving it your vote. Voting is open until 25th May so only 3 days left to go.

I finally got around to adding a classic spaceship as the orbiter too... I wondered about a satellite also. I'd like to try a cow too, but boy, Cows are expensive! So unless anyone has a cow looking for a new home for significantly less than the going rate, that won't be something I will try.

I'm so close to the 1000 now... it's slowed down and it is certainly an effort to keep promoting it though - I would be delighted to hear any suggestions for other ways to get attention.

Hi all! I made my first submission to Lego Ideas recently and would love your support. The Medieval Traveling Theatre is a troupe of three actors (and their cat) who go from town to town with their own stage and props and put on shows for all audiences.

I first had this idea back in 2000 but the parts library really exploded since then, and in 2012 Bobsy's concept came along. Many of his innovations have been carried forward in the new build, but I engineered the whole thing from scratch in Studio.

Prop storage was very important since I didn't want anything rattling around, so parts clip into place or sit on studs, and the back opens up (after removing the roof) for access.

This set will make a great addition to any medieval village scene, and it's also been pointed out to me that it first the western theme fairly well also. Kids will love the playability of the set, since they can put on endless imaginative shows and the pieces can be kept in place so they don't get lost. For adults it's an awesome display piece.

And when these performers aren't acting or rehearsing, they can have plenty of adventures on the road.

Thanks! After seeing the garbage truck fail the recent review round I'm a little nervous for this one, since it seems Lego Ideas is going for more expensive sets over these kinds of mid-price ones. But at least I designed it to use parts available on BrickLink.

PERMANENT PLANETARY STATION

It is a base build in two 32x24 baseplates with specialized modules, crane, vehicles, flyer, and robot.

The base is composed of four modules: Vehicle Hangar, Habitation quarters. Command center and Lab module.

Using those half pipe ramps for the roof makes for quite an impressive (and imposing) structure!

I was going to say it seems unlikely this could work since it prominently uses a part that has been out of production for ages. But City Stuntz has a new piece that is very similar and could be recolored to do the job.

Hi everyone, I'd like to introduce a project I created over the summer: My samurai helmet, also known as a "Kabuto." The project took me about a week to design and build and contains about 780 pieces. I've included a lot of detailing to make a striking display piece for your desk or bookshelf. There's even a bit of customization: you can swap out the simple chin cord for a full menpo, or facial armor!

After much encouragement from some AFOL Facebook groups, I decided to take a chance and submit it to Lego Ideas! The original 1998 Ninja theme is one of my favorites and I have even included some elements from that theme as an homage - Can you see what and where they are? :D

I can't see that doing so well. It is not exactly a stand alone set but just an expansion pack. They don't do those for their own official train sets when they are on shelves so unlikely to do them through IDEAS when there might not even be any appropriate engines being sold.
