Hi, here's my submission for a set based on CW's The Flash... while its another comic superhero based set, I still hope they at least use this to consider expanding the superhero theme to branch out from the comic book sets to ones based around the ever growing TV universe :)

I wanted to share my Lego Ideas submission titled The Brick's New House https://ideas.lego.com/projects/130365. Houses have been done before but this one is unique in the way that it it constructed. I have designed it to be built using prefabricated sections. So a builder would first build the sections then build the house with the sections adding an additional building element beyond simple construction of the set.

The section building technique also allows for an increased level of customization. because the side wall and roof sections are interchangeable. As is most of the furniture in the house so a builder can design the house to be anyway they want it.

If made into a set I see the potential for wall color, furniture and holiday accessory kits as well as additional house sections such as a garage, deck or additional floor level to expand beyond what you see here.

Here's my submission for a set based on Edoras. A lot of Lord of the Rings projects tend to be UCS scale but I wanted to try and make something more affordable. Any support and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It is not really that different to an existing one that has now expired.

The front arches are a problem at this scale. Your one uses the wrong ogee shape for the central arch, whereas the other one has to raise it up to fit the regular arch in.

The other problem is that LEGO aren't going to do a LOTR set out of Ideas (opinion, not fact). If they wanted to do an Edoras set, they would have done it themselves.

@SuperTramp This is Lego we're talking about, they are illogical at times. It's like asking why they released two different AT-AT's back-to-back, or should they have two X-wing sets available at the same time (Poe's & Resistance Fighter)? No rhyme or reason other than because they can.

Hi all I would like to share my lego idea MOC "Grandads Shed" I think it would look good at the bottom of a modular garden,there is a fair bit of play-ability as well with all the tools inside, lathe ,mill,ect a Leakey old corrugated tin roof and lawnmower that need repairing.

I agree. Great model but the likelihood of another robot type set right now is next to no chance. They don't want any competition with a licensed set they are trying to sell already that is similar.

This is fantastic! I remember reading a suggestion in the UK Lego Club magazines many years ago, that you could integrate all your sets into a Town set-up by just treating the more SF/fantastical stuff as a film set. I always thought it was a neat solution and would love the opportunity to buy cameras, lights and crew sets to do it more convincingly, so I've supported this on IDEAS.

Lego Facade,all this is only six studs wide! and has a brick count of less than just one modular building,The idea behind this model is to allow collectors who struggle with space for the large modular buildings to display this with ease on any standard shelf.

with a brick count of less than one normal modular build you get three,There is the hardware store with tools for sale,a hat shop just in case your mini figures want a new look,and last but not least a fish store for all your pet fish needs,be careful tho the contractors tearing up the walk way.

All the stores have goodies inside to play with and a few secrets to discover as well ?

This model would be ideal for people on a budget,with limited space, or have a gap that needs filling in there Lego city.also ideal as a standalone set.

While I think this is a nice idea, there are already sets like this in the LEGO Creator line, so I doubt it would ever get approved even if it gets the necessary number of votes.

@stellar73 That looks awesome!!! I would totally buy that, though it could be dangerous as I might feel the need to expand with the other modulars and the completionist in me would want to get all of them ( including green grocer and cafe corner).

GhostBusters, Dana Barretts Apartment

This is my Lego Ideas model of Dana Barrett's apartment from the eighties classic movie Ghostbusters

I Have made the model as near to movie accurate as I could get, I spent a lot of time viewing the film footage and cross referencing from screen grabs, The apartment features several times throughout the movie and the set dressing changes on each occasion, so I have combined all occasions into the model. The features of the set are as follows three mini figures Dana Barrett, Pete Vekman terror Dog,

Terror dog arms to attach to the arm chair

Additional 1X1 Triangle pieces to create the carpet ripple effect

Additional pieces to create the apparition in the fridge

All the furnishings of the apartment, Piano, Tables, Books (etc)

This is one of my favorite scenes in the film I believe this Lego Idea would really compliment the ghost busters Lego sets that are already available.
