Is there more that one Technic set numbered 8229 ??

I ask because I have 2 different booklets with this number? Both booklets are printed in 1997 (by the same print company in Germany too) but feature different models. Both models have tracks for wheels, but they are 2 quite different models??

B model I presume. I think it was some sort of fork lift for this set?

So would you say that both booklets belong to the same set?

Says there are 2 booklets. Check the picture to see if those are what you have.

It's the same answer as your 8232 question. Technic sets of the period ('96-'00, I think) often had two instruction books. One for the main or A model and one for the secondary or B model. Yes, it's very confusing.
