Hi I'm pastelnerd and I'm new.

I'm an AFFOL (I can't believe that we still live in a world where we have to identify ourselves as female or it will be assumed that we are male). I collect mostly Marvel sets because I'm a big old nerd. I also like girly things but not the Friends sets, those mini-dolls creep me out.

    Hello pastelnerd,

    Cool nickname. I like it.

    Welcome aboard.

We are not against gender here :) all we care about is the little bit of plastic that hurts when you step on them.

    CJ.

    Welcome to the forum!

The term AFFOL is optional of course, there is no 'have to' - it's purely used for convenience as the majority of AFOLs are still male, though that is gradually shifting

I'm not just talking about here or the Lego community. Most people assume I'm male if they can't see me or hear my voice.

Anyway, thank you indigobox, I'm rather partial to the name myself.

Welcome @pastelnerd, I'm an AMFOL and I've never identified myself as such before :-)

Thanks @Huw. I just realized, I should probably say I'm from the United States.
