LEGOLAND Billund Miniland in 1968

Just saw this totally awesome video of what Billund's Miniland looked like when it opened in 1968!



I like the large scale #6075-2 and #6083. You can see where the inspiration for those classic sets came from, since this predates them by 10 years!

Also, it appears they let little kids actually wander the streets of Miniland. Wonder how long that lasted. :)

    Love the "Cities of the Future" Boy, did they ever get that wrong.

    It was interesting to hear the word "midget" as well. Times sure have changed.
