Scooby-doo also has an advantage of being a gender neutral theme, which would appeal to a large audience. It would have vehicles, monsters, but could also have some cool trap doors, hidden passages.

I know they are doing a relaunch of the classic universal monsters.

Well then it wouldn't be anywhere near gender neutral unless one of the 3 I mentioned was really a girl =)

Fred's really a girl. Ever wonder why he always wore a neckerchief? No adam's apple. Now you know. ;-)

That will be interesting if they do, although half of them have been covered by Monster Fighters (and some CMF).

^I think he meant Universal Studios are 'rebooting/reimagining' their classic monster movie properties. They're wanting to get a piece of the Marvel/DC-type universe action, by having Monster movies that all link in to one combined universe.

But as you say, most of these have been done in previous themes, so it's unlikely Lego would want to go over the same ground. Having typed that I realise that this is often exactly what TLG do, so maybe it isn't so unlikely.
