Got a few LDD creations to show off - yes, they're all pop culture. Having got the toys, I tried to replicate them as best I could. Buzzsaw is the best in my opinion.

Had this one nearly completed for a while, just got the parts to make the finishing touches.

This is very loosely based on the beginning of King's Quest.

Also the Elfkiller is back just for you awesome bricksetters. Graham's pointy hat must have gotten him all confused...

Built this weird dragster thingy while on a plane to Winnipeg MB (the picture is actually on the fold-down tray). It's not the most beautiful thing but it is made only of parts from the Ecto-1 and I was limited on space and time :P.

Building Lego to pass the time on a plane - maybe that's an idea I should try when I cross the Atlantic next month. That said, according to Delta's website, The Lego Movie will be showing in-flight as well and I missed it when it came out, so there's that as well...

@plasmodium I was actually trying to rebuild the set but I forgot the instructions :P Make sure to bring trays and sorters with you so the pieces don't go rolling everywhere.

Finally completed him. My own UCE Artoo. Used the set as a basis, but went bigger, using hinge plates to make him more barrel shaped. Give him an extra claw arm for his left side. Even managed to give him 6 panels on the top of his head, unlike the 4 that TLG managed. Did notice, via guides and pictures of R2-D2, that there is actually some incontinuity concerning the two bolts on his upper legs. Some versions have them on the back, and some, on the front. I've also forgotten to put the cables on his feet! (face slap)

Devilhead - I would not call that a "rough draft" Looks great! Are the LDD files available? I'd love to add your building to my city! One thing I'd change is to use part #6019 (Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Clip Horizontal) and a #60478 (Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Handle on End - Closed Ends) to make the leg of the "R" slope. Both are available in yellow.

Made this attack/cargo helicopter today mostly out of parts from #70815 . The twin blades both spin when a knob at the side is turned and there is a safe that hides a jewel. The cockpit is also extremely large for all of those computers and the spiny chair. :P

Entry: Space Command Centre

It features the main command centre, spaceship landing bay and power station. I stayed true to the aesthetics to the Classic Space and Neo Classic Space sets by keeping the MOC Bright Blue, Light Stone Grey, Trans Yellow and Trans Red. It contains Trans Yellow screens, control panels, greebling, tubes, equipment, space gears, grills, lights and antennas. I added the spaceship landing bay because the baseplate was bare, the lights on it will make it easy for the spaceship pilot see where to land in dark areas. The power station powers the whole command centre and it is surrounded by a safety barrier with a large antenna.

No Lego Classic Spaceman is without his Command Centre.

I wanted to build a small scale Eagle Transporter from Space 1999 as none I have seen have done justice to the tubular frame construction of the original. Hardest part was getting the front right. Still not perfect, but best I can do so far at this scale.

Nice, although I'm not mad about the rendering, too much glow and effects for my taste. You should really render the wotw tripod, it's probably my favorite build from you.

I actually quite like the rendering myself, even if more fantasy than realism. Too bad it has now made me want those hockey sticks in trans-light blue! I remember seeing a tutorial on how to get pieces glowing, I will have to try it myself sometime. Another great MOC though!

^ The first time I tried using POV-Ray I rendered the tripod, but the image isn't that great as it doesn't show the whole tripod. Now I don't have the file though as I lost it when my computer blew.
