Having lived in Canada and now in Europe, I've been influenced quite a bit by older buildings, and I went for something close to a cathedral, while retaining the simple look of smaller churches. It then became obvious I should add some kind of cemetery, with a new and an old part, and plenty of different styles of tombstones.
It's interesting too that the new modular went for glasswork for their windows, as it was one of the first things I made for this! In addition to that mini-story, the inside has an altar with the Golden Brick itself as well! What could be hidden inside that rundown side room?
I wonder who could be living up there to ring the bell at every hour...
So let me know what you think, and as always, I'm always open to constructive criticism and ideas to improve my models, so don't hesitate!
In total, I think I made 65 or so in 2022.
Looking forward to more in 2023!
Happy New Year

I might need to take some lessons from you on tree design as I have a few projects I'd like to move forward on but have zero idea on where to start.
Evancelt's trees tend to be bigger than the typical ones found in City, and since he often has repeating settings due to his historical themes, he's reusing the same (good) designs more often as well. Once you settle on a good pine tree design, you're good with anything covering the whole western half of the US!
Whenever I receive sets I part them out and give my kids the parts I don't think I'm going to use, and then keep the green/brown/tan parts for myself :)
Some examples from 2022:
Deer antlers
Claws or feathers
Some upsidedown regular plant pieces
Curved trunks so the leaves aren't flat on top:
Stud shooter trunk
Seaweed and clip tree
Ninjago Spinner
Clips
Green claws
Weird ball joints
Hulk hands
Flowers and small leaves
Bushes
More upside down plants
Hotdog tree
Skeleton arm tree trunk
Treasure chest tree trunk
Gear tree
Spider leg tree
Spearhead and unicorn horn micro trees
Which build in particular are you wondering about? Your mention of snow has me stumped!

In this one the bright light orange leaf elements are attached to technic pins via white bars. The trunks are made from dinosaur tails (curved white pieces, part 40378pb01) and also white technic fins (part 87745) that I think originated as whale vertebrae in some underwater set.

In this one the leaf elements are attached to 1x2 bar plates that connect to clips on the SNOT tree trunk
